Classic Stuffed Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
I must admit that I did not use the turkey recipe but what i did was take the stuffing recipe and use it! I was very satisfied with it. You know how everyone loves the stuffing more than the turkey....It had a great flavour and was so moist. Definately a keeper!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
If I couldgive this recipe more stars I would!! My husband never wants turkey because he thinks that it is always dried out. So....when I saw this recipe with the brining method I thought why not give it a try. Well... all my company and my husband whole heartedly agreed that this was the moistest[is that a word] turkey they had ever had and with the most flavour. I will never change turkey recipes. I did stuff this with the stuffing recipe from classic stuffed turkey. It was just the final touch to this great turkey dinner!! Thank you thank you!! ps- after making this turkey now too many times to count, I can honestly say that all my friends and family are now using this recipe and agree that there is NO OTHER turkey recipe for them as well!

Pad Thai

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
I made this with chicken which I had marinated in a left over soy and chili dipping sauce. I also did not have any bean sprouts so instead I use finally sliced celery and carrot. The flavours were excellent! No need to search for another pad thai recipe!

really fast and easy to prepare. I didn't have yogurt so I substituted low fat sour cream and about 1 tbsp lemon juice. I loved it and would definatly make this again.

Sarma (Stuffed Cabbage)

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2006
Usually for sarma you use a sour cabbage but since I didn't have one I added about 4 tbsp of vinegar to the water that I blanched the cabbage in. I also added chopped bacon to this recipe. I fried the onion and bacon together and then added to the other ingredients. Absolutely love these. I also did these in the oven instead of stove top. they turned out really well. thanks

Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2006
I made this as a vegetarian alternative to the reg cabbage rolls since I have alot of vegetarian friends and needed something for them to eat at a potluck! I found these alot harder to roll than other cabbage rolls but I left out the veg protein...didn't have any maybe that is the difference. Once they were cooked they held together very nicely and the flavour was great!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2006
I only changed a couple things in this recipe like adding chopped spinach to the ricotta. I made the sauce a couple days before to let the flavours settle together and also made sure that there wasn't too much liquid in the sauce. The lasagna stayed together perfectly and my guests loved it!! Definately a keeper thanks

Sweet Chili Thai Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
I really like this recipe except I agree the sugar is just WAY too much. I cut it in half and that was enough for my taste! Also, be careful of how you add the cornstarch to avoid lumps! Taste of dip is great...oh..add more cornstarch if you want a dip not a sauce.

Lemon Ginger Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
yum yum and more yum!! the only thing that i would change about this recipe is depending on how strong your garlic is and how much you like the odour.. I would cut that to 1 clove. After the marinating the flavours are right in those prawns. Great left overs if you can keep from eating them all!!

YUM!! For anyone who is trying to add fish to their healthy menu plans this is wonderful!! Fresh sea bass is so mild in flavour and has such a great texture and what can I say about the sauce...fabulous!! I added a sprig of fresh rosemary and it just added that fresh herb taste which I love. Enjoy!!

I think this risotto recipe is a great one to use as a jumping off point. It is very easy to make and from it you can incorporate all the ingreds that you have or like. Next time I make it I will leave out the mushrooms and add other veggies. Thanks I loved it!!

Thai Chicken Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2006
I did not like these very much. I made them for a lge group and was a little embaressed by them. I found the burgers to really taste like the crumbs and also the texture of the crumbs and dry like the crumbs sigh....Other than that I liked the combo of the other ingred so I will try again?! but not on anyone but immediate family first!!

Sauce Rosee

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2006
This was really good. I used fresh herbs [obviously] a bit more and just infused the o.oil with them. I also had some time so I made my own tomato sauce. I would recommend that to anyone who has the TIME! Then cooked down the t. sauce so it wasn't too runny! I also cut the sugar down to a pinch, just used as a flavour enhancer. ENJOY!!

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
this is so easy and so good. I did the marinating the day before and when I was ready to cook the next day, threw it on the grill. Just be careful you don't dry out the pork and everything will be great. excellent flavour
