This has to be about the quickest, easiest and most flavorful hot vegetable one could prepare. Instead of cooking the sesame seeds separately, we used a "Soy Vay" product "Veri Veri Teriyaki" which is a teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds. (It can also be used as a marinade.) After turning off the stove, my son and I added the teriyaki/sesame directly to the pan, coated the peas and mushrooms and poured it into the serving bowl to be served hot as guests were being seated.

Photography Notes: The photo shows the snow pea pods and mushroom mixture in a serving bowl immediately after stirring in the teriyaki/sesame mixture. Be sure to make enough as everyone will want more!
