Creamy French Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
I followed this recipe and it tastes WAY too much like cider vinegar. I added a bit more ketchup, 1/2 C more mayo and some garlic and onion powder and it still only tastes like vinegar. I am going to throw it away.

Absolute Best Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
This was great. A bit heavier in the prep than I realized, but once it came together it was great! Everyone liked it, and the kids didn't even realize they were eating cauliflower and onions!

Sesame Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2007
Quite yummy! The roast fell apart by the end of the day, so I toasted some buns and we had the roast w/ sauce and cheese on buns with some steak fries!

Easy Teriyaki Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2007
This was ok....a little bit too "vinegary" for our taste.

My Mom's Sausage and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: May 14, 2007
Super Easy and Yummy. The blahness comes from store-bought sausage...I had some great fresh ground pork, doubled it, the rice and the soup mix..boiled for a while and baked for about 25 mins. Put cheese on top instead of almonds...super good. Much like Sausage Stuffed Peppers, without the peppers.

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2007
This tastes awesome! I usually add 1 sm clove of garlic, which is super yummy. I have yet to perfect the whole creamy sauce thing, but the taste makes it worth it. I realized tonight I have been using shredded cheese instead of grated...not sure if that makes a difference...but still super yummy even if it looks a little werid!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2007
I wouldn't say this was amazing, but I think it was b/c of the mayo. It had this layer of grease on the bottom of the dish. I added some sun-dried tomatoes, which was good, and am pondering how to tweak it for next time, since I like the idea of it, but wasn't totally thrilled with this one

Crustless Cheese Quiche

This is definitely a 5-star...super easy and super delicious...especially for how easy it is. Can't beat this for a quick-to-put-together and yummy to eat dish!

Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
This dish turned out horrible. I followed it exactly and the scallops were swimming in nasty juice and the bread crumb mixture was just a bunch of dry crumbs on top. Not sure what I did wrong, but no one would even eat it...and my husband does not waste food!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
This was very good!!! I only gave it 4 stars b/c the "breading" part was all mushy...probably something I did wrong...and my chicken was a little tough...probably also me, but still...it was yummy, yummy...and the sauce was amazing!!!

Excellent...again!! This has become a staple in our house! Depending on how fresh the chicken is, sometimes I cover it. Yummy!

Cajun Style Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
Very Good! I used crushed pork rinds instead of bread crumbs to keep the carbs down; split in half and baked in two bread pans...yummy!!!

Tomato Dill Soup

was very good, I ended up just adding some puree instead of pureeing the soup, but it was yummy. The guys and kids liked it.

Chinese Roast Chicken with Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
This recipie is excellent and easy! I don't usually ever mess with the gravy; we just dip the chicken in the "sauce". This is one of my hubby's favorites. It can be a little salty, so if you don't like too much salt you may want low-sodium soy sauce...mmmm, excellent!!

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
This was great, and fairly easy as soups go. I boiled my potatoes in water and used milk in the soup...had to add a little flour to thicken it to our liking, but it was VERY good!!

Best No-Bake Cheesecake

This tastes wonderful, but is nothing like cheesecake as texture goes. I would definitely recommend freezing to get it to set.

Easy Lemon Cheesecake

Quick and Easy...but I was hoping for a more "pukery" lemon flavor. If you like a mild lemon taste...then you'll love this!!!

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
I've made this several times and even just use the sauce to pour over pre-made meatballs and cook in the crock pot...I've shared the recipie with a friend and it's become a regular at her house too!!!

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2005
These were excellent!!! I doubled the recipie to accomodate my extra ribs. I didn't have real maple syrup so I used regular instead...it was very sweet, but no one in my house complained about that!!! I also didn't have enough dried onion, so I used 3/4 fresh chopped instead. We will be enjoying this one again!
