Tequila Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2014
Mmmmm! This recipe is a keeper! It's easy to make and has a really nice flavor. I made the recipe as stated (and I always add cheese and sour cream on top in my bowl). My husband and I kept going back for extra helpings. Now we only have enough leftover for one of us to eat tomorrow. I'll have to make this again soon!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2014
Delicious! I didn't change a thing except I used ground turkey. This is SO much tastier than the canned version I was buying. I will use this recipe instead from now on.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
I was glad to find this recipe....my husband and I had been buying slices from a bakery and now I can make it at home. I make the recipe as is except sometimes I use walnuts. Like other reviewers, I made a batch and used the smaller loaf pans to give some away at Christmas.

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
I brought this to a Christmas party and did not like it at all, however several people liked it and asked for the recipe. I used cherry tomatoes and served with cocktail rye bread. I used a package of pre-cooked and chopped bacon. Lots of people seem to like this recipe so give it a try I suppose! It's just not something I myself will be making again.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
Excellent! I've made it several times already for me and my husband. I only use one can of the black beans and use chicken broth instead of vegetable. I also like to add chopped red peppers or tomatoes. It's very good with sliced avocado on a wheat tortilla. Try it!

Delicious Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
Yes, the description is accurate. Very easy to make and very delicious! I was only able to marinate 2.5 hours and it was still good. Looking foward to seeing what it tastes like marinated the full time!

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
Delicious! I cut the recipe in half and baked it in a round cake pan. I did not make any changes to the recipe. It was very moist and so easy to make! I like that I already had all the ingredients on hand. I imagine it would even be good if you didn't have any pecans in your pantry. Try it! :)

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
Very tasty and easy to make! I've never made potato salad before and I am happy I now have a "go to" recipe for it. I used red potatoes and kept the skins on. I also did not add celery because my husband doesn't like it. It still turned out great. Like other reviewers, I did add more mayo.

Cool Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
Great recipe! Very refreshing in the summer. I made as is, using the red wine vinegar. I also used different colored peppers to vary the color. I will make this again!

Shrimp Scampi II

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
Delicious! Other than halving the recipe for me and my husband, I followed the recipe as is. Regarding other comments about flour, I decided to go ahead and use it anyway. I dredged the shrimp by putting just a little bit of flour in a Ziploc bag. The flour did not turn the recipe goopy at all. I will make this again for sure. Very, very tasty. Even my picky husband loved it!

Summer Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
This salad has a great tangy flavor - I will make it again! Unless you are serving this to a large crowd, you might want to cut the recipe in half. I had a ton left over.

Corn Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2005
Hmmm...the original recipe turned out really bland for my taste and I didn't care for it....however I took it to a party anyway and after we doctored it up there (hot sauce, cayenne etc.) everyone LOVED it except me.

Taffy Apple Salad I

I've made this salad several times already and always get rave reviews and requests for the recipe. The only thing I changed was using half of the amount of peanuts.
