Shrimp and Mushroom Linguini with Creamy Cheese Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2007
The day of, I rate it 3 stars, the sauce is too saucy. But re-heated the next day, everything is restaurant quality. Leftovers get 5 stars. Yummy.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2007
This smelled sooooo good cooking. I omitted the nuts (allergies), and reconstituted some craisins. I thought it was okay, but my kids only tasted the bread. It's been three days and I still have at least half a loaf left. This was a good idea. Thanks.

Cinnamon Bread Delight

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2007
My boys loved this recipe. I really liked using the cinnamon-sugar to "flour" the pan, I thought it wouldn't be good, but I enjoyed it. Thanks for a great recipe.

No Bake Chocolate Cookies I

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
I read the recipe and something looked wrong. Here's what I did and it turned out yummy. Decrease the butter to 1/2 c. and I increased the cocoa and used tablespoons instead of teaspoons. With 1/2 c butter the ratio between butter, sugar and milk is what starts my regular fudge recipe. But you must decrease the butter.

Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Love this recipe. I used peppermint extract like another reviewer recommended. I just roll it out like a snake (think playdough) and make little slices. I always get tons of mints and everyone thinks I bought them from a restaurant. Some of my friends thought I purchased these mints from Lionhouse restaurant.

Bavarian Mints

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Yummy. This is not fudge, it's a mint. I just beat it once and place it in the pan, all that other beating is too much work. It still turns out great.

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Very easy. I placed enough water in the pot to barely cover the potatoes. When the potatoes are tender, just drain off some liquid and mash. Good to make when the stove's busy with many other items.

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
I have had and made better sugar cookies. The clencher for me was the smell while they were baking, I don't think it smelled very good, and usually I love the smell of baking cookies. The taste was good though, not memorable.

Apple Stuff

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Needed something to use up some apples. My boys decided that we should use grape jello. It was very tasty. I don't like it cold. And I would double the topping, it is sooooo yummy.

Serious Herb Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Fabulous. I leave out the olives and dill. Almost everyone loves this. The only ones that I came across that don't care for this is those that prefer the package mixes. Great recipe.

Poppy Seed Cake III

My boys love this recipe. I would probably add some orange zest or something, I like orange and poppy seeds together. But the kids just enjoyed this. Thank you.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Okay - I used chicken. But I'm not a big fish person. This is so good on chicken. I imagine it would be good on anything. Thank you sooooo much for the fabulous recipe.

Sausage Potato Medley

This is the best. It just needs some scrambled eggs on top. It is perfect for my family because one of my little boys is allergic to eggs. Thank you for this yummy recipe.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
This is so easy. I didn't have peanuts, so I used slivered almonds. So yummy. A lot of the sugar mix did stick to the bowl and I couldn't get it out, so some went to waste, hence 4 stars. I have now made this with peanuts many times, I up the peanuts to 2 cups and it's wonderful. Very easy.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
The only thing we use in this recipe is the marinade. We even fry up some onions and peppers and make fajitas. It is the most amazing thing. Everyone has to atleast try the marinade, we used it on london broil. We love the meat warm and cold. Thank you for this great recipe.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
This is very close to my main pumkin bread recipe. I tried this because I lost my recipe book (it's somewhere in the house). I just used the cinnamon and a little nutmeg, I don't like all the spices. It is very yummy. You can also bake this in 1 - 9x13 pan.
