Smoked Salmon Chowder

amazing chowder. would definitely make again. was a great use for the smoked salmon I received over xmas. made a half portion and was tons. froze well. dont know how often I will have smoked salmon so I would like to try this with another type of fish as well.

Roast Pumpkin and Feta Risotto

very good. first time cooking risotto. added some white wine and sage at the beginning then a little butter at the end at it was great. Would definitely make again.

awesome sauce. love the sweetness of the honey cut with the spiciness of the chilies. usually make a double recipe and freeze the leftovers.

Grandma's Polish Perogies

excellent. fun to actually make them yourself and it isn't that hard at all. I boiled then fried them with onions, sauerkraut and chorizo. i found it a little tough to roll the dough out thin enough and i ended up making them fairly big. i added sauteed onions and garlic and chopped green onion to the potato mixture. also, to get the potatoes nice and fluffy, when you drain them in the colander, let them sit and steam and a lot of the moisture will evaporate. great recipe!!!

Banana Banana Bread

awesome recipe. my first time making banana bread and turned out perfect. took a little longer in the oven than expected. i added some chocolate chips in the batter and some crushed walnuts on top. definitely make again.

Fettuccini Carbonara

very good. best carbonara I've made so far. sauce was light, tasty and not too heavy. I used 4 cloves of garlic, half n half instead of cream and ham instead of bacon. I also added some basil at the end. Make sure to let your pasta cool a bit before adding the cream/cheese/egg mixture or the sauce may get too heavy. Make sure to season well with S+P as it is a lot of pasta.
