Funnel Cakes III

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2012
I used Vanilla Almond Milk instead of regular milk and added more since I got the 'thick' problem as well. It also helped to sweeten the funnel cake. I used 3-4 tbs of sugar too....

Fudge Brownies I

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
I read suggestions and listened to a few. I used 1 cup of Ghirardelli cocoa bits (60%cocoa), 2 eggs, 1.5c sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond. baked for 45 minutes. The key to the perfect brownie is to let it cool. I will definitely play with this recipe. My husband has devoured them.

Scottish Shortbread II

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Very easy and delicious recipe. Tastes like everything I remember from my Scottish neighbors. In variations I have added 1/2tsp vanilla and 1/4tsp almond. I have also doubled the recipe, reduce temp to 300 and cook for 50 minutes. I will be making it this holiday season with preserves in it.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
The dough was WONDERFUL! The differences we made...doubled the Brown Sugar, Cinnamon and butter to paste on. I would also suggest cutting them 3-4 inches large. This would make for the bigger rolls. We did ours at 2 inches and they weren't as big as we would have liked. The reason we have 4 stars is because the icing tastes nothing line Cinnabon. It's ok though.

Oriental Style Ginger Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2005
Wonderful dressing with modifications. I reduced vinegar to 1/2 cup and I used Rice Vinegar instead. I'm not a vinegar person and 1 cup was very watery. I also upped the Sesame Oil from 1 tsp to 2-3tsp.
