Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
I use this recipe for breakfast. I add a little more milk and strawberries. I like really cold smoothies, therefore, I add two ice cubes. It is very filling and delicious!

Black Hills Golden Egg Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
It is rare for a one-dish dinner to work for us. I don't like meat, my husband does. I only put the sausage and mushrooms on his side, which worked fine. He said it tasted like a tasty omelet. As someone else said in below reviews, it is similar to a quiche. I had a similar dish at a bed and breakfast in Ainsworth, NE and thought it was delicious then. The ingredients added plenty of salt so next time I won't add salt. I added pepper and some spices. Quite good.

Viva Madrid Spanish Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I didn't know what to expect, but the sauce turned into a glaze that was really tasty. I did add extra seasoning, but I normally do anyway to my tastes. Someone mentioned issues with the flour sticking. One tip, soak the chicken in salt water the night before. Boil chicken for about 15 minutes. Lay out to dry. This way the chicken is soft and thoroughly cooked. With the chicken dried the coating sticks better. Other than that I followed it exactly. The dates added a nice contrast to the chili powder. I added double the broth at the end to create a sauce with the drippings/part of glaze not on chicken. We served over rice. It was delicious!

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
Not sure what happened. Taste was okay. Very light and airy which made it hard to frost. If I make again, I will follow the suggestions to put in a bundt.

BLT Dip

Delicious! Super quick and tasty. I used pre-cooked bacon cooked 33 seconds and chopped. That saved the mess and time. You can add any seasoning you enjoy.

Double Chocolate Cookies by EAGLE BRAND®

Something's missing. Good flavor, but textures okay. I didn't use nuts, but am allergic to them. Perhaps that's the needed piece.

We are not salsa fans, therefore, instead of salsa and water we used enchilada sauce. It is delicious! Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

I used King Arthur's Brownie mix (for those of us with allergies). It was AWESOME! Even my picky husband, who doens't like dessert, except silk pie, liked it. I did add vanilla to the one cool whip. I sprinkled with Enjoy Life chocolate chips. Will make again!

Minute® Rice Lasagna

I added more rice as recommended and used an 8X8 pan. After scooping, it was more like a mix than a lasagna, but still tasty.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

These are so good. I did my own seasoning mix and no hot sauce. I am very picky about spices and allergic to garlic. I did do 3/4 c bread crumbs as recommended by others.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
I followed the suggestion to add salt, baking powder, and lots of vanilla. I didn't realize I didn't have chocolate chips until after the dough was made. I made a pan full just to try the cookie taste. It was SO good. I didn't mind not having the chips. I used chocolate pudding, that probably helped. YUMMY!

I have made this recipe four times. Now, I reduce the amount of water and add milk. I also add more sugar. The recipe by itself is very nice, but the addition add an extra kick.
