Stuffed Shells I

Easy and delicious. I added the spinach as others did. This now a go-to dish for when I have company over. Thanks for a great recipe!

Maple Baked Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
My entire family loves this recipe. My kids ask for seconds before they've even finished their firsts! So simple and so good. Don't change a thing. It's great as is!

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese

Just was not creamy enough. The topping wasn't really a big deal either.

Broccoli and Onion Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
There are alot of foods that I will eat. Really, I'm easy to please but this is my least favorite of all the dishes I have made from this site. It's very bland, even with the S&P added to it. The broccoli turned out mushy (even though I used fresh and steamed as directed). I'm sorry but I won't be trying this one again. Even the little ones didn't like it and it has cheese on top!

Fabulous Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
Super easy. Really yummy. I love that this recipe calls for chicken broth and not bacon grease. What I also like about it is that all three of my kids, ages 5&under, also enjoyed this. A definite regular in our home now, for sure.

Outrageously Buttery Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
True, there is a ton, A TON, of crumb topping on this cake. It wasn't nearly sweet enough for my liking though. I would recommend cutting down the flour. I used a butter cake mix. I've read that this cake is bland, I would have to agree. There's just something missing here.

Almond Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
This is a simple yet elegant salad. It's delicious and, best yet, I haven't found a single person that doesn't dive into this salad head first. First tried it at a wedding, loved it, found it here, and made it for my daughters Strawberry Shortcake bday party. It delicious as is. I wouldn't change a single thing. Yum!

Fruit and Vegetable Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
Mmmmm, yummy. If you think that combining these ingredients sounds odd, don't be fooled. These chops are moist and the dressings are syrupy and sweet. No "sour" in this kraut. I'll make this a regular in our home. Thank you for this sweet pork recipe!

Simple Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
Yummy! Easy! This was the easiest, quickest dinner that I've made in quite a while. I put the potatoes (for mashing) on the stove to boil and, in the meantime, made the rest of the meal. It could be considered a little sweet but my 2year old loved it and ate her meat before anything else (which never happens with pork). I'll be sharing this recipe with friends. Thanks NPB!

Corn Chip Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
I really love this recipe. My Mom has been making this salad for the past 30yrs. The differences are: she adds taco seasoning to the meat, omit's the tomatoes and dressing and adds a picante salsa to it. A real hit with the kids because of the chips. Same concept as a one pan meal.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Flavor is great (make sure not to use marinated artichokes though). Not the prettiest of chicken dishes to offer to company but still it's the taste that matters and this is the only artichoke chicken recipe I use anymore.

Shortening and mayo?!? A bit much? No way! This bread is moist and delicious and oh so chocolately. Skip the low cal suggestions and make it as is... mmmmm!

I made this for company and the dish was scraped clean. I followed the recipe to a "T" and it's great as is. My favorite part? No soup needed in this easy to make, no frill but absoluty yummy, Au Gratin Potato recipe! Try it!

Chicken Marsala

This chicken is so yummy, so moist, so good. This is a recipe that I use for company, over and over and over again. I have friends ask me to make this. It's that good! Try it and make extra sauce because it's great with mashed potatoes!

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
Oh my goodness, was this ever good! I love this twist on traditional spaghetti and can't believe I waited so long to try it. I added fresh mushrooms and garlic to this dish and it was great but I can imagine it being great without. I also didn't have enough cottage cheese on hand so added some sour cream in as a sub. Delicious family meal. The kiddos will gobble it up (mine asked for 2nd's)!

Last Night's Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
This recipe was alright. I will give it credit since the chicken was very moist but too many onions and something about the onion/soda mixture gave my whole family heartburn and the burps.

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
Great potluck meal. Fast and easy (perfect for a busy mom!). Good but not the kind of enchiladas you know when you live in the southwest such as we do. Will definitely make again. I doubled the recipe and used 1lb ea. of hamburger and sausage. Nice flavor!

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2007
Nice tasting pie. Very easy to make. I'll definitely be making this one again. I would suggest someone elses advice that I read and taste your strawberries for their sweetness first. Mine weren't and I would have like them better sweeter.
