White Chocolate Gorp

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
I made this twice - the first time using the recommended amount of white chocolate and I thought it was too sweet. The second time I halved the amount (I used white chocolate bark) and it was MUCH better.

Slow Cooker Lentils and Sausage

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
This was very good. I added some cayanne pepper and cajun seasoning for taste. It tasted similar to spilt pea soup.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2005
This is so moist and flavorful! I substituted 1 cup of Splenda and used only 2 cups of real sugar. I was worried it would be tart, but it wasn't at all.

Texas Sheet Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2005
This was delicious, especially the frosting. The only substitution I made was light sour cream in place of the real thing. I thought the cake was soft and had good flavor, but it was "crumbly" and difficult to serve in one piece.

Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2005
This is one of our favorite things to eat! I use an entire head of cabbage, decrease the tomato sauce and add 2 cans of diced tomatoes, celery, and substitute 1 can of kidney beans with a can of navy beans for a little variety. WE LOVE THIS SOUP!

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2005
I didn't like this recipe at all, it came out soupy and salty. The onion wouldn't have been so strong and overpowering if I had sauteed it first. I will not make again.

Oatmeal Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2005
This is great! My husband asked me to add chocolate chips (1/2 cup) and it was even better!
