Very yummy. A little bit of work to make but well worth it. I needed a bake sale recipie and this was just perfect! NOT cakey at all. The only thing was i didn't add the chocolate chips and used regular cocoa powder instead of semisweet.

Ok everyone has pretty much said that this recipe needs a LOT more flour than listed. I just wanted to say that with a lot more sugar and cinnamon and raisins* (I soak my raisins in eggs and a t. of vanilla to moisten them) They cut better with the floss or string. AND most importantly they come out MUCH MUCH better if you put them into greased (spray) cupcake pans without liners. This helps them come out in perfect circles and they are still moist on the inside and golden brown on the outside.

I made these cookies day before fathers day. While I was waiting I also made muffins while the raisins were sitting. This was a wonderfull recipie. The cookies came out super moist and I accidentally left a batch in too long and they still didn't burn just got more golden after about an extra 5 minutes. I also want to mention that I used this batch and only made 2 1/2 dozen cookies because I love big cookies they came out chewy and delicious just in case any one wants big ol juicy oatmeal raisin cookies. They were easy to get off the cookie sheet and left the sheet easy to clean. These are a very moist chewy yummy cookie but if you leave them in for a crunchier cookie they still turn out great!!!!
