Crusty White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
I changed the recipe by adding 1 cup stone ground wheat flour and subtracted from the rest of the bread flour so the flour amounts stayed the same. I heated 1 cup of the water to proof the yeast and heated the milk and then the rest of the water. this bread rose so fast with a wet towell covering the dish. I had to punch the down down put in fridge covered with plastic wrap because I had to go to dance practice. When I got home punched down dough and put in 2 loaf pans covered with wet towell and rose and baked. So goooood. Will definiatelly make again this is a keeper. I have no bread machine so made by hand.

Crisp Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
I made these cookies for a fund raiser. I used seal and wrap to cover the dish while in the fridge. I made balls with the dough and put a pinch of sugar on the seal and wrap and rolled the generous tablespoon of dough and flatten them. I also added extra vanilla and one of the other viewers suggested and added a little lemon zest. They came out in 4 in cookies that was find with me. The cookies came out so crisp and good.I will diffintially make them again and again. Soooo gooood.Baked them about 13 minutes. I had one cookies and took the rest to the fund raiser or I would have eaten a lot more.

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
This recipe is so easy. I have made it twice now 1st time with nuts 2nd time no nuts. I used a candy thermomoter.Followed the recipe to the letter. Turned out perfect. I don't like fudge that melts in your hand because it is so creamy. This is the perfect fudge for me.
