Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
These are yummy! I didn't have butter flavored shortening so I use 1/2 regular shortening and 1/2 real butter. Turned out great. I also glazed the tops. I did find that I preferred baking them for 8-9 minutes instead of the 10-12.

Great flavor! Great texture! I did change it a little. I replaced half of the milk for buttermilk. It turned out great! We'll be using this for a long time. Thx.

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
Loved it! It was easy. Great flavor! Came out super moist. I do wrap my bread in plastic wrap as soon as I pull it out of the pan. I find that is makes the outer crust very moist. We will keep making this one.

This was great! The cookies were delicious and easy. I did split the shortening with half butter. Yummy. We'll use this again.

Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
This has a nice tangy flavor. I did add nutmeg and ground cloves to the recipe. It gave it a nice seasonal flavor. I also doubled the sugar as suggested in other reviews. Once out of the oven I buttered the tops and dipped them in a cinnamon sugar mixture. This made them really yummy. I did find the batter to be a little runny but they still baked up well. I would love to make this again for my family.

This was tasty and easy to make. I did add cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. I also substituted the butter for applesause and used 1/2 wheat and 1/2 white flour. Then I baked it in a sheet cake pan for 25 minutes. It was perfect. Very moist. My family loved it.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: May 15, 2005
The whole family loved this! I did use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. I sauted it with the green onions. I also, used corn tortillas instead of flour. I dipped each tortilla in the sause that was set aside before rolling the filling inside. It was great!
