Cranberry Orange Cookies
First time I've made these and they are certain to become a regular in my cookie baking rotation! They turned out quite cakey and fluffy which is exactly what I was hoping for. I only slightly changed the recipe by cutting back to 3/4 cup of white sugar, more zest, 3 tbsp. juice from the actual orange, no walnuts and I cut the cranberries to 1 cup and chopped them very fine in my 'magic bullet' so that my kids would like them more... don't think they'd like the big chunks of cranberry but with them chopped so fine they barely noticed them and they were a hit. They didn't spread very much so I found the best was to shape them into balls and then flatten them about half way down. I had no trouble with the amount of flour as listed. The glaze makes them very attractive but really isn't needed to add any flavour. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Monster Cookies VI
Read all the reviews and and was excited about these cookies (especially after tasting the delicious batter) but they just did not bake up well at all. I don't usually have any trouble with cookies but they were just flat and hard. Thought it was because I was making them too small but even after making them HUGE they still fell flat... so dissapointed because I really wanted them to turn out... not sure what I did wrong...? Followed the recipe exactly, put them in the fridge for a bit, used ice cream scoop size... 11 minutes was too little and they turned out doughy and would barely get off the pan but 12 minutes had them dark and hard and breaking apart!! Won't be making again since I don't want to waste the ingredients! :(

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
FINALLY! I've been looking for years for that perfect chocolate chip cookie and I've finally found it! I don't think I'll be using any other recipe from now on. The recipe is perfect just the way it is although I did use salted butter since that was all I had and they still were fantastic. I baked my first batch right away and then waited about 20 minutes for the dough to chill for the second batch just to comapre. As far as I was concerned, they baked up nicer and tasted better without being chilled. If you want great cookies just follow the recipe!
