Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
This was a great dish. I love to make Chicken Tikka Masala, which is really similar to this but this one is quicker and tastes just as great. I'll be making this again and again. As usual, it was even better the next day for lunch!

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

This is awesome and sooo easy to make. I added a teaspon of lemon extract based on other reviews just because I like lemon flavor. I'm make 3 more of these this week of holiday gatherings!

Yummy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
This honey mustard is unbelievably delicious! I'm so picky about honey mustard and this recipe is spot-on. I was a little leary about the mayonnaise part but it is absolutely perfect! I'll never buy honey mustard again.

Alice Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
This recipe was delicious! I always get this dish at Outback Steakhouse and never really looked for a recipe online for it; just stumbled across this yesterday when I was looking for something new to do with chicken. A definite staple in my menu.

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
This was okay but I wasn't overly impressed. This is like many other recipes and wasn't something I would be making exactly as shown.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
If I could have given this more stars I would have! It was fabulous. As with the other reviews, I was so surprised at how well these ingredients tasted together. I followed the recipe pretty much exactly except I used boneless chicken thighs and cooked for about 35 minutes at 350 degrees. This will be a staple in my house although I think next time I'll reduce the butter by half just to see if it tastes as good with a little reduced fat/calorie combination.

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
This was average but not anything I'd make in the future without a lot changes. It was VERY, VERY bland. It had to cook longer than 60 minutes for the potatoes. I added oregano and thyme...but still not a lot of flavor. I was disappointed with this dish.

Penne and Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
This is excellent! I used bacon as suggested since I didn't have pancetta. I boiled it before for a few minutes just to take out some of the smokiness Definitely recommend this one and making it again this week!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was the simplest, most excellent chicken dish. I, like some others, was surprised at the amount of flavor in it. My husband really liked it. As it was cooking, I smelled a lot of the chili powder so I was worried it would be spicy (I love spice but the husband does not), but it was perfect. This will be a staple in house!

Chicken Caprese

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I honestly didn't think this would be that great but I was amazed. That Mrs. Dash I think made all the difference and I absolutely loved using the cherry tomatoes; I never think to use them all that much. This will be a staple at our house for dinner It was even better leftover.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This tenderloin is awesome! I have made it twice and will make it again and again. It is so easy it is unbelievable. I also added cornstarch to the au jus to make it like a gravy. Definitely and keeper and a staple in my house!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
This was pretty good and a great starting point for some experimenting. I didn't pay attention to the amounts of anything and just did everything to taste. Will try again with a few changes.

Bacon Wrapped Pork Medallions

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
This was very easy and so delicious. The pork came out perfectly, nice and moist and not overcooked. I loved the rub and will be using it on other pork cuts. Looking forward to making this for some family that is coming next week.

Chicken Tagine

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
This was excellent. The carrots came out perfectly. I was most surprised that it didn't have an odd taste considering the use of apricots and cranberries. It was on the border of being too sweet so next time I may adjust and perhaps even add something to make it a bit spicy. I served it over curry rice so not so traditional Morocco but my style. I will definitely make this again.

Pork Chops and Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
I wasn't very happy with this dish. It was sort of bland and the pork chops were very, very dry. I won't be trying it again.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This is a great Indian recipe that is easy - typically Indian recipes take time. I scaled back the cayenne pepper a lot (only used 1/2 teaspoon) as my husband doesn't like spicy. It was the perfect amount. Next time, I'd add some garam masala simply and maybe some canned tomatoes just because I prefer a red curry sauce and love the taste of garam masala. Also thinking I'd add some potatoes. Excellent dish.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
This was a really good solid recipe. My husband loved it. I read a few reviews that referred to the 'steaks' staying together as a challenge - I formed them and let them sit in the refrigerator for about an hour or more before frying them, which helped a lot. You have to be very delicate when frying but mine stayed together perfectly. I will definitely be making this one on a regular basis!
