Quick Tuna Casserole

Awesome! I can't wait to try this with chicken like a previous poster suggested. I'm going to make up three or four of them and freeze them to be even faster next time!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
This is our favorite meatloaf recipe. Shredded cheese is the way to go for easiness, but the cheese cubes look neat when the meatloaf is sliced and somehow make it taste "cheesier" even though the amount of cheese is the same either way. I cut this recipe in half, and I also make a little indention down the middle of the meatloaf--this holds the ketchup really well and keeps me from wondering if it cooked all the way through in the middle.

Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
Why in the world has this never occurred to me and/or why haven't I heard of it until now?!?! Of COURSE!!! This is the only way I'll ever make grilled cheese from now on. HOORAY! Bonus: no more squished, deformed bread from the spatula-they're perfectly square every time. Awesome.

Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
WOW! This is really good and a great alternative to the same old cream cheese/marshmallow dip. I only had whipped cream cheese but it turned out fine. I also added a little milk to smooth it out. It's also really good with a little more milk to make it pourable, then drizzled on top of individual fruit dishes with whipped cream and chopped toasted almonds. YUM!

Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
My husband LOVES stuffing, and this is a great use for some Stove Top. To me the cheese conflicts a little with the green beans, so when I make this I pick one or the other to put in instead of both.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2007
I make these every time I get a craving for a big ol' burger. These taste best on the BBQ but are great and FAST on the Foreman grill, too. TRIPLE bonus: this same recipe makes awesome burgers, meatballs, AND meatloaf. Amazing.

Miniature Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
I cut this recipe in thirds, which may have been the cause of the texture that wasn't quite smooth enough for me. But the good news: I didn't have vanilla wafers, but I did have...SHORTBREAD GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! They made the most incredible "crust." I'll use them for many other desserts that call for a graham cracker crust from now on. You should try it!

Quick Turkey-Bean Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
This is NOT quick! It took me nearly an hour and a half just to put all the ingredients in. It tasted good, anyway.

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

AWESOME. I frost this with cream cheese frosting from a can, and my friends think I'm a genious cooking prodigy. They ask for me to bring it to every holiday party between October and January. I oblige because it's EASY!

Old Fashioned Apple Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
This was good and tasted surprisingly different than what you expect from apple pie. I couldn't figure out if I liked the apple layer or the cream layer better, so I just kept eating it. Advice: Let the cream cheese AND the milk come to room temperature for much easier blending. The first time I made this the cream cheese refused to blend smoothly with the cold milk and I nearly whisked my arm off.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was the EASIEST part of Christmas dinner- my first to cook everything on my own, and my first turkey ever. Next time I'll cook the turkey breast maybe a half hour less. I took another reviewer's suggestion and made it with Easy Turkey Gravy from this site, then put them together the next day with the Thanksgiving Leftovers Casserole recipe. Both turned out great. Thanks again!

Easy Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
WONDERFUL! This tastes awesome, and makes a BIG batch. I used vegetable stock because I couldn't find turkey. Gravy always seems to run out, but this keeps going and going- all the way through leftovers!

Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
This turned out really well and was easy, but I was expecting it to taste a little sweeter or a little more sugar glazed- this is mostly zip, not so much sweet.

Blackberry Wine Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
Since blackberry jello is no longer available, I use 1/3 C of blackberry JELLY instead, and it works really great. This glaze is whack, though. I just dust with powdered sugar instead and serve with blackberries and heavy whipped cream.

Blackberry Wine Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
Not being able to fine balckberry jello anywhere (I'm not sure they even make it anymore), I used 1/3 C of Blackberry JELLY instead, and it was awesome! I never did get the glaze to turn out right, so I just dusted it with powdered sugar instead. Great and easy and smells incredible.

Ramen Noodle Frittata

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
I love this and so does my husband. (A liking for ramen noodles is a prerequisite for this recipe.) There is a creamy chicken variety of ramen that works really well, too. AND it's also really delicious made with mushroom flavor ramen and some sliced mushrooms. Awesome for non-vegan vegetarians like us.

Black Bean Cigars

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
I love this recipe! My husband didn't even notice there was no beef. I've made this recipe with rice instead of potatoes and it's still great, especially with Ready Rice it's really easy. FINAL TWEAKS: a few handfuls of frozen tator tots, ro-tel instead of tomatoes, 1C salsa, same cheese, sour cream & seasonings. Combine and burrito-roll into six 10" tortillas, line in 9x13 dish, bake UNCOVERED til light brown & crispy. Reheat in oven: 450 uncovered; reheat in microwave: cut in half, 2 minutes on high.

Southern Skillet Dinner

Reviewed: May 23, 2005
This recipe was SUPER easy and REALLY yummy! I added about half a can of cream of celery to thicken it up a little. There were a ton of leftovers, so the next day i put them in a pie plate, covered it with bisquick, and made an awesome pot pie!
