White Sauce

Southern Potato Salad

this was very good. However, I did not put the sweet relish in just because I don't like sweet relish. Also, I used a Dijon mustard instead of regular mustard. Very tasty. Would be good with onions and bacon as well.

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Yum! Ok, well used 1 cup of chopped pecans and 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chips. I would have used 2 cups milk chocolate chips but I didn't have any just the semi-sweet. Anyway, delicious! and very easy!

Jean's Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

this was great. I ended up adding another 1 1/2 cups of chicken and noodles to make it thicker. I also put in a can of cream of chicken soup to thicken it a little bit. and added some garlic salt to add flavor. My family loved it. Can't wait to have the leftovers for lunch.

this was perfect. i did scale it down to 12 servings then made the dough in the bread machine, but still cooked it in the oven. made it for dinner and was gone by breakfast.

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Crab Puffs

Excellent. Did not put crab in because i am pregnant and can not have shell fish. Tasted like crab puffs from Panda Express. Husband and 1 year old son devoured them. also made a sweet and sour sauce off wonton package for dipping. will definitely make again and add crab next time.

Chicken Pot Pie I

made my own crust. used frozen veggies and some diced potatoes. also added onion salt and pepper. It was very good. i might attempt to make them individual sizes next time since it is just me my husband and 1 year old boy. i can freeze and save more for another meal.

Simple Maple Syrup

Sugar Cookie Drops

this was really good. i halfed the recipe and ended up adding another 1/4 tsp of vanilla. I also added a couple more spoonfuls of flour and did not smash the cookie with a fork because i like thick cookies. my picky husband loved them. next time i try it with almond extra.
