We adopted the puppy in my profile picture on Sept 25th and named her Dixie Grace. I love cooking anything Italian and anything southern. I also love to bake everything from cakes to pies to cookies -- just any kind of desserts! Milky Way cake for b'days... most often requested dishes from my family: chicken pot pie, chicken divan, broccoli pea casserole, baked spaghetti and white chicken lasagna. I made a red velvet cheesecake cake for my son's engagement party and it looked beautiful and tasted even better! I once added self-rising flour to a Milky Way cake batter instead of all-purpose and it kept rising until it ran over the edges of the pans all over the bottom of the oven. It was enough of a total mess for me to always double check ingredients before I stir 'em in!
