This cheesecake was awesome! There were two things that went wrong, but I'll fix them next time. I used an 8-inch pan instead of a 9-inch, and that worked out fine. My problems were that I baked it in a water bath, and the water seeped through the foil and into the crust, which turned out soggy. Also, I used granny smith apples, which had a perfect taste, but I should have cooked them first, because they were a little crunchy for my taste. I made a crumb topping with flour, butter, brown sugar and pecans, then I drizzled caramel topping on the slices before serving them. My family loved it, and I will definitely make it again, but I'll fix my mistakes.
