Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2014
Reduced the milk to 1 cup, pressed the cheese into the pie crust and baked an additional 15 minutes with no problems. We weren't crazy about the mozzarella cheese and egg combination. If I try this again, I will use mild cheddar.

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
Very good...I made this for a Thanksgiving get together. I used 32 oz of corn and kept all other ingredients the same. I can't imagine using less corn, there would be too much sauce. Doubling the corn was perfect.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2013
Just made these and they were awesome. I think they were moist enough for an oatmeal cookie. I ran out of quick cooking oats and also used Quaker Multi Grain hot cereal for the rest. There is no way I could wait 5 minutes to let them cool! I did not flatten them. They are a tad sweet so may cut the sugar back the next time. 9/4/13 - I can't even tell you how many times I've made this recipe. The cookies are awesome. The only thing I changed was reducing the white sugar to 2/3 cup.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Very good and easy. I will reduce butter next time. 4/8/14 - made this again. Didn't use butter at all and added bread crumbs with the cheese. Very good again!

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
I followed the recipe exactly. The muffins were very good....sticky, but good. And sweet enough that perhaps I will cut the sugar down next time and substitue the apple butter and oil for applesauce. You don't really taste the carrot, just the sweetness of the apple and raisins.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
I loved the recipe. I didn't add the sugar or vanilla and used skim milk. I thought it tasted fine without the added sugar. This is my go-to smoothie recipe!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
I loved this. It turned out great. So simple, I stayed true to the recipe but added some chopped walnuts. Now that I know it is a keeper, I may experiment a little.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
These were good. We used mini choc chips, not quite 2 cups. My husband and I both agreed that after they cooled they weren't that chewy and they reminded us alot of the cookies in the baked goods section of our local grocery store. I would either stick with the recipe on the back of the bag or our favorite on this site, Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
This was just ok. It was easy, I thought the meat had a good texture and was somewhat tender. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to cook! And most of all, I have to agree with Leogirl, I couldn't get passed the "gamey" taste. My husband liked it but said it still was not good enough to belong to our "rotation" of recipes.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
Yayyyy! My husband said to add this to the rotation. So it's a keeper! I cooked it on low for 8 - 10 hours. I used a 2.27 lb pork shoulder and skipped the beef broth. Shredded it and added the Sweet Baby Ray's, then baked for the suggested 30 minutes. Still not quite sure what baking it did?

Pumpkin Pie Bread

Loved the density of the bread...still not enough pumpkin flavor for me. I may make again and tweak for more flavor.
