Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
Excellent! I've been making this one for a couple of years. My husband begs me to make it for special events. Follow the other advice to add the shredded parm and Panko at the end of baking. I usally use light cream cheese, cut back the mayo to 3/4 of a cup and add one fresh jalapeno finely diced for some extra kick! Yum!

Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2010
I've never had swiss chard before, but I've always wanted to try it. So when I found it at the farmer's market yesterday I brought home a bunch. This recipe was easy and delicious! I'll definitely be making it again!

Seven Layer Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
Loved this dip! Took it to a party and got rave reviews. I added a little garlic and fresh cilantro to the guacamole layer. And since I didn't have the pepper jack cheese, I added a little taco seasoning to sour cream/mayo mixture. Good stuff!

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
My husband and I really enjoyed these! We grilled them and served them on whole wheat rolls. I just added a little extra worchestershire...yum! I'll definitely add them to the rotation.

Crunchy Romaine Toss

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
Loved this salad. Took the advice of others and halved the sugar, used olive oil instead of vegetable. Some other tweaks....used 2 heads of romaine, 1/2 diced red bell pepper, 1 c. diced fresh mushrooms and 2 grilled chicken breasts chopped. Then when I tossed the salad I only used about half of the dressing. Great summmer meal!

Jesse and Steve's Fresh Strawberry Cake

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
Thanks for the great recipe! As per other comments, I substituted part of the turbinado sugar with granulated sugar. I also increased the amount of mashed berries to 1.5 cups. I used frozen berries (no added sugar). I also let it bake for an extra 15 minutes. Perfect with cream cheese frosting and sliced berries on top! Yum!
