About this Cook
Growing up, my mom was always cooking, making wonderful homestyle comfort foods. After going to college, I began to miss those great meals. Since then, I have tried to learn more about cooking and baking. I have a great husband who fortunately likes to eat my experiments.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake desserts such as italian cheesecake and fruit pies. I enjoy cooking italian and mediterrianan pasta dishes, soups, and homestyle beef and noodles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I hope that one day I can make my mom's delicious homemade cinnamon rolls.
My cooking triumphs
Anything my husband says "that's good!" means I have really done well.
My cooking tragedies
Early in my marriage, the house specialty was fish sticks and macaroni and cheese! Yuk!

Stuffed Pepper Soup I
This was just ok, nothing special. I will probably not make this again.

Mini Pumpkin Muffins with Orange Drizzle
Very moist and flavorful! I added a little orange extract to the glaze. I will be making these again!

Sweet Potato Oranges
I made this for my in-laws for Thanksgiving. It was a show-stopper! My husband's grandmother couldn't stop complimenting me! Next year, I may have to make a double patch. My only complaint is the time it took to prepare the oranges. I prepared them and the potatoes the night before to speed it up. Thanks!
