Key Lime Pie VIII

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
Great tasting! I was a little worried about the taste of the condensed milk but I couldn't taste it at all. This is a brilliant recipe (I used 1 cup of frozen Limeade concentrate instead of lime juice, so I guess I can only call mine Lime Pie). It was very delicious and better than store bought. The hubby loved it too and wants me to make it again this weekend.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
My first time making antipasto and it turned out great! My husband doesn't like raw bell peppers so he was hesitant to try this but when he did he said it was a win! Very flavorful & hearty! This makes a ton of salad! Will be making again!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Delicious recipe! My family loved it. I substituted Muenster with another cheese because I couldn't find Muenster. Very creamy and decadent (not to be eaten everyday lol).

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This is a delicious recipe, although I could hardly taste the honey and added more when it was on my plate! lol. Definitely a recipe to try if you haven't already. Very quick and easy too!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
I've made this many times and it's best to double the recipe as it doesn't make much. My husband loves it and requests it all the time!

Peach Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
These are really tasty! I used a can of peaches and 1 fresh peach. I also cut down the oil to 3/4 cup and added 1/2 cup of apple sauce. They cooked quickly. I probably will use a little less sugar next time though.

Salmon Cakes II

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
Delish! I left out the worcestershire, hotsauce and flour and added some lemon pepper seasoning & they were still tasty! They were still great the next day (cold or hot). Yummy!

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This dish is awesome! I really don't know why it didn't turn out well for some cooks. After reading the reviews I used 7 eggs (medium) & 1 cup each of milk and half & half. I absolutely LOVED how it was all golden brown and toasted at the top and soft and moist on the inside. Next time I will make more of the brown sugar topping. Will definitely make again.

These are delicious! My meat eater husband even likes them and doesn't complain about eating this no-meat dish. A favorite in our household!

Mock Champagne

Very tasty. I didn't follow the amounts exactly as I didn't have the computer on. My husband really enjoyed it and almost drank the whole lot!

Michelle's Peanut Butter Dots

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
Yum, these are delish! Mine took 20 mins to cook & they were perfect. Next time I will use crunchy peanut butter for that extra crunch (I only had smooth on hand).

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
This turkey recipe is the best! Ours didn't come out burnt like the one in the picture lol though. I followed the recipe exactly except for the dry white wine - we used riesling & it was perfect. The turkey was moist & everyone commented on how great it tasted. Will be making this every thanksgiving from now on. Thank you!

Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
This was very good! I did drain the syrup from the peaches (as recommended from some reviewers) and I baked it in a 9.5inch dish. It was ready in exactly 40mins.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Awesome recipe! It was very delicious and was a big hit with my meat loving husband. Simple to prepare (I only needed to use 2 eggplants but needed 3 eggs). Will definitely prepare again.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
These cookies spread a lot! I put 9 on a 9X13 inch pan and they spread out and were touching each other! I didn't really like the taste (they tasted really "eggy", like there were about 5 eggs in them) but hubby enjoyed them so I'm giving 4 out of 5.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
This is one of the moistest carrot cakes my husband and I have ever tasted! I did substitute apple sauce for half of the required oil. I made it in the 9X13 as suggested but it turned out really flat! An inch at the thickest. So I guess I need to double the recipe to make it a decent thickness. There was a lot of icing, more than needed. I didn't know this and poured the whole thing on the cake lol - luckily I love cream cheese icing but I think it would be too much for most people. Will definitely make again but will double cake recipe and only use 3 or 3 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: May 22, 2005
Ladies... (and gentlemen) we have a winner!!! Oh my goodness, this fudge is so absolutely creamy & smooth! It's perfect. The only thing I did different was to make it in a 9x13inch pan & I omitted the nuts cause the hubby doesnt like them. It made 40 1-inch squares & they are going very fast! Will make this for our memorial day cook-out. Thank you Kelly (and Aunt Teen) for a great recipe.

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
The lemon filling was really good not too tart and not too sweet but it wasn't enough. The squares were very thin. Also I would make less crust because it was almost as thick as the filling.
