The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
The lemon filling was really good not too tart and not too sweet but it wasn't enough. The squares were very thin. Also I would make less crust because it was almost as thick as the filling.

Split Pea and Ham Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
So easy to prepare and very delicious! I used the leftover ham bone from Easter. I followed the recipe as it and it was perfect! After it cooled down the fat rose to the top and I just scooped it out. Will definitely make again if I have another ham bone on hand!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
My first time making antipasto and it turned out great! My husband doesn't like raw bell peppers so he was hesitant to try this but when he did he said it was a win! Very flavorful & hearty! This makes a ton of salad! Will be making again!

These are delicious! My meat eater husband even likes them and doesn't complain about eating this no-meat dish. A favorite in our household!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
Awesome recipe! It was very delicious and was a big hit with my meat loving husband. Simple to prepare (I only needed to use 2 eggplants but needed 3 eggs). Will definitely prepare again.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
I was craving pancakes and wasn't impressed with the pancake recipe I had been using, so I came on here to find a better one. I found this one and I'm hooked! Most people have all these ingredients on hand so they are easy to whip up in no time. They are very fluffy and light but also kinda salty. I would suggest to either use unsalted butter or use regular butter and omit the salt. I was also worried about how thin the mixture was but that thickened up in the bowl. This is the best pancake recipe out there! Definitely recommend this!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Delicious recipe! My family loved it. I substituted Muenster with another cheese because I couldn't find Muenster. Very creamy and decadent (not to be eaten everyday lol).

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This is a delicious recipe, although I could hardly taste the honey and added more when it was on my plate! lol. Definitely a recipe to try if you haven't already. Very quick and easy too!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
I've made this many times and it's best to double the recipe as it doesn't make much. My husband loves it and requests it all the time!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
The best Sweet Potato Pie I've ever tasted! The only thing I did different was use only 1 egg. It was a big hit at Thanksgiving dinner and even my husband loved it and he doesn't like Sweet Potato Pie! I especially love how it tastes like it has brown sugar in it. Thank for the recipe!

Very tasty. I didn't follow the amounts exactly as I didn't have the computer on. My husband really enjoyed it and almost drank the whole lot!

Peach Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
These are really tasty! I used a can of peaches and 1 fresh peach. I also cut down the oil to 3/4 cup and added 1/2 cup of apple sauce. They cooked quickly. I probably will use a little less sugar next time though.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
These cookies spread a lot! I put 9 on a 9X13 inch pan and they spread out and were touching each other! I didn't really like the taste (they tasted really "eggy", like there were about 5 eggs in them) but hubby enjoyed them so I'm giving 4 out of 5.

Key Lime Pie VIII

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
Great tasting! I was a little worried about the taste of the condensed milk but I couldn't taste it at all. This is a brilliant recipe (I used 1 cup of frozen Limeade concentrate instead of lime juice, so I guess I can only call mine Lime Pie). It was very delicious and better than store bought. The hubby loved it too and wants me to make it again this weekend.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
This is definitely NOT for people watching their weight! (me). You only need a small portion because it is so sweet - and this is coming from a sweets lover! It's very delicious but I'm positive I could feel my waist expanding with every spoonful.

Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2007
This recipe calls for water but in my case water was the last thing needed! I had to pour out what seemed like 1 cup of water half way thru cooking. I did use half white and half brown sugar and topping was sweet & crispy. Not the best but alright for only a few ingreds.

Michelle's Peanut Butter Dots

Yum, these are delish! Mine took 20 mins to cook & they were perfect. Next time I will use crunchy peanut butter for that extra crunch (I only had smooth on hand).

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
This is one of the moistest carrot cakes my husband and I have ever tasted! I did substitute apple sauce for half of the required oil. I made it in the 9X13 as suggested but it turned out really flat! An inch at the thickest. So I guess I need to double the recipe to make it a decent thickness. There was a lot of icing, more than needed. I didn't know this and poured the whole thing on the cake lol - luckily I love cream cheese icing but I think it would be too much for most people. Will definitely make again but will double cake recipe and only use 3 or 3 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar.

Very good recipe. It only took 25 mins to cook in our oven, very quick and easy to prepare. It's even better with vanilla ice cream. Will definitely make again.
