Chicken Paprikash II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2014
This was very yummy, I used cut up chicken breasts and chicken broth instead of water as some others had suggested. Boyfriend had not ever had chicken paprikash but he really liked it and I will be making this again. I think I will do it with the chicken parts next time because I'm sure it would be even more flavorful that way. Thanks for the recipe!

Absolutely Amazing Ahi

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I get a dish called ahi tuna and asian cucumber salad at McCormick & Smick's and this totally reminds me of it! I will definitely make this again.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
I made this with my own alfredo sauce from Cooking Light which I just love. We grilled the chicken and then cut it up, wilted the spinach in a skillet then mixed it together on top of linguine with some fresh tomatoes from the farmers market. It was quick, easy and delicious. Thanks!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
This was moist and delicious and I will definitely be adding this to my regular rotation. I served it with honey cashew green beans also from this site. I marinated the fish in a small glass dish and cooked it in the same one with the fish swimming in the marinade. Boyfriend raved about it!

Honey Cashew Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I served these with the maple salmon recipe from this site for dinner tonight and it was a perfect side dish. I steamed the beans in the microwave and over cooked them a teeny bit, otherwise I would be 5 starts. I coarsely chopped the cashews by gently pounding with a rolling pin.

OK this really was meatball nirvana, my boyfriend raved about these. I made the recipe exactly as written and made a double batch, I'm really glad I did! They were moist and yummy and I loved the red pepper flakes in them, it added a nice kick.

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
The store only had skinless boneless breast and I think it would have been juicier with bone in pieces. The flavor was still good, the potatoes were delicious. I will try again with bone in chicken.

Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
We enjoyed this very much, I used round steak that I already had on hand and marinated it 24 hrs. We broiled the steak 5 mins each side and sliced it thin. Served it with some homemade Guac, sour cream and naan bread. Will definitely make this again.

Cincinnati Chili I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
We really enjoyed this Cinci Chili, left the onions out of the recipe and topped with raw sweet onions and sharp cheddar cheese over whole wheat pasta. It was delicious and I'll definitely make this again! Looking forward to making chili cheese dogs with the leftovers!

I made my crust with gingersnaps instead of graham crackers. This came out perfect! It was delicious with whipped cream. I took it to my boyfriends home for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit.

Marmite Mince

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
I love marmite so decided to look for some recipes I could use it in. I liked this, but it was a bit bland...I think next time I will use more marmite and see if that makes a difference. I will definitely make it again though.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
This was quick and easy, but I think the steaks I had were bigger they came out medium rare, which is to my liking not everyones! I am reducing the sauce a big more right now to pour over the other steak and eat as another meal.

Gooey Butter Cake III

I made this at a request from a coworker and took it in to work. I found it too sweet for my taste, but other's seemed to enjoy it. If you have a serious sweet tooth, it's delicious. It was a bit much for me!
