Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
Best ever!! My new go to recipe -- even KAF has taken this recipe and posted on their site. Subbed butter for margarine and used instant yeast. 375 degree oven for a little longer and perfection!

The Ultimate Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
Excellent -- got even better with time. Perfect ratio of oil/vinegar for pasta/veggies. Subbed fresh parm for the mozz, used 2 tsp garlic powder for the minced, used 1 tsp each salt, pepper, onion powder, 2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp each dried basil and dill

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
Very good -- followed others and cut vinegar and pepper in half, omitted lemon juice. "Healthed" it up by cutting down on cheese, reducing amount of mayo, subbing half of mayo for Greek yogurt. Added sunflower seeds and raisins and threw in some cauliflower as well.

New Red Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
Made a few modifications: I used dijon mustard in place of the milk, rice vinegar in place of white, added a couple more eggs, and used miracle whip light. Held up nicely for several days. Very good traditional recipe.

Kerry's Beany Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
My family really enjoyed this healthy recipe. The only item I didn't have was the fresh cilantro, and used a tsp. or so of dried instead.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
Excellent recipe!! My healthier variation -- Used 3 c. white flour and 1 c. whole wheat, cut butter in half to 1 stick, used low fat sour cream. Used stand-up mixer and mini scone pan. Added ten minutes to cooking time.

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

Reviewed: May 18, 2005
I made this recipe twice -- definitely recommend soaking the beans overnight. Also used molasses in place of syrup, omitted the ham, and added 1 TBSP vinegar at the end. Very good flavor!!
