About this Cook
I live in Austin, Texas with my french bulldog, yorkie, and 3 cats. I'm an avid animal rights and wildlife supporter and support the Born Free Foundation, Wildlife Rescue, Drakenstein Lion Park, and others. In July I head to Africa to work on a lion rehabilitation project.
My favorite things to cook
I love Indian food! Chicken dishes are a favorite, and anything that you can throw on the grill. Chicken fajitas on the grill, with a batch of ice cold margaritas, some fun friends, and you're set!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom used to make some wonderful dishes such as stuffed bell peppers, pork chops, salmon cakes, cinnamon treats. She is still discovering wonderful recipes and sharing them.
My cooking triumphs
I really love my Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken (here on Allrecipes.com), but now I'm tweaking it and adding sour cream and a few other items to thicken it up and lessen the processed ingredients. It currently has a 4 out of 5 star rating which is pretty good for a first time submitter!
My cooking tragedies
Oh, there have been many. Some laughable and others just downright tragic. But you never learn anything if you don't try, so be a mad scientist in the kitchen! Who knows, you just might end up with a wonderful recipe to share with friends and family.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken
I'm Keon (the creator of this recipe). Glad to see so many people enjoying it! I'm from Texas and like SPICY dishes, so you may want to tone down the cayenne if you don't like spicy as much as I do. Also, to reduce the sodium, you can use the low sodium soups. Enjoy!
