Cherry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
This was pretty tasty. I was looking for a good cobbler recipe and I used raspberries (I had a craving...). It probably turned out a bit juicier than if I would have used cherries, especially since I used frozen raspberries, but it was still tasty. Thanks!

Beer Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
Pretty good. I made beer bread from a pre-made mix once and it was fantastic. This is close, but it's not quite the same. Very easy, though.

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Awesome! I cooked the chops on an indoor stovetop grill and they were so good. I marinated for about 5 hours or so. By that point, the lemon juice was already cooking the pork chops. Thanks for the great recipe!

Ham 'N' Broccoli Hash

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
Awesome recipe! Easy, cheap, and tasty. The only change I'd make next time is to omit the salt. It really doesn't need any. I also added some pepper and cheddar cheese. Thanks for the recipe!

Pork Chop and Cabbage Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This was simple and tasty! I used cream of mushroom soup. Sorry but cream of chicken's just kind of nasty. Turned out great. I recommend using a little salt and pepper on the pork chops. I pulled it out like 15 min early because I was afraid the meat would be tough. Glad I did that. I don't think it needs to cook quite so long. I also recommend using the deepest 9x13 baking dish you have. It's a pretty tall casserole.

Cheddar Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This is really tasty! The only thing is that you can't really taste the cheddar. Maybe next time I'll use extra sharp white cheddar. But this was my first recipe to use a bread maker with and it turned out really well! Thanks

Delicious Grilled Hamburgers

These had good potential. I think I killed them by cooking them too long...I'll them try again.

Absolutely Delicious Baked Root Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This was great! I had never had parsnips or rutabaga until we went to England for our honeymoon. Since we've been back, I've been wanting to cook them myself. I substituted more of the other veggies since I don't like carrots, and next time I'm omitting the steak seasoning. It was just too much. And I used the Montreal steak seasoning...Other than that, great recipe! Will definitely make again.

Hearty Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
This tastes really good but there is WAY too much sauce. I think next time, I'm using more veggies and ham, and less sauce. I also used peas instead of corn. Very tasty. Just needs a little tweaking.

Strawberry Champagne Punch

This was ok. We pureed the strawberries and left a few to float in it.

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
Ok...I kinda screwed up the recipe because I wasn't paying attention to the amount of ingredients I had on hand. I sure it would have been ok if I did it correctly but I think the ingredient that made the taste wierd was the cinnamon. I also added chili powder. I know that kept it from being white chili but it just didn't really taste like chili. Probably won't make again.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
Ok, I hate meatloaf, but this is great. I think next time, I'm only using a teaspoon of salt, maybe a little more ginger, and I'm thinking of combining a little brown sugar with the meat mixture. Goes great with peas and french bread. Thanks for the recipe!

4.5 stars. This is a pretty tasty comfort food. My fiance's mom's side of the family is English, and he says this recipe's pretty authentic. Thanks!
