Tartar Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
This was an easy and excellent tartar sauce. The key is the lemon juice, as I was making basically the same thing without it. WE are a dill family, but since that is just a preference, the recipe still deserves five stars. Thanks for sharing!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
This recipe is the bomb! The taste is fantastic, whether you decrease the salt or keep it the same. I add extra spices and bouillon and add cornstarch (mixed in cold water first) when finished to make an out-of-this-world gravy and serve with potatoes. I use cheap pork chops, like pork sirloin, and they come out very tender every time (when I try it with leaner, whiter meat chops, they just aren't moist). Thanks for my favorite pork chop recipe...EVER!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
Wow. This is going to be my new brownie mainstay! I made these exactly as written, except I forgot to put in the chocolate chips. Definitely fudgy! I made them for a potluck and they went very quickly. Thanks, Brooke, for an excellent and easy recipe! Yum!

Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
Wow! We absolutely love this recipe and usually eat it on a salad (like a taco salad, but so much better!). I make this at least once a month and love having leftovers. It is great for potluck meals, as well. Per other reviewers suggestions, I make it in the crock pot, double the seasonings and add a can of beef broth. I have made it with and without a cup of salsa and both are excellent. Thank you, Miss Annie!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
This is a wonderful potato salad and is perfect with the red potatoes. I make it as written and I get lots of requests for this recipe. It is also good warmed in the microwave, much like German potato salad. It really brings out the flavors...quite addictive! :) Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe.

Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
I have made this soup several times and my family loves it. As another reviewer suggested, I saute the onions and celery in the butter until tender, before adding the flour and butter. I serve with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar. Occasionally I add a big spoonful of nacho cheese sauce to my bowl for some yummy zip. This is a very versatile soup; so easy to adapt. It is also easy to double and provide a meal for another family.
