My favorite things to cook
I love trying new dishes...but often fall back on the tried and true.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas eve....Spaghetti. Most of my family lives on the east on christmas eve I invite family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to stop by on christmas eve where there is usually a little gift, a big pot of sauce bubbling, and a drinkie pooh or two...just a perfect night to say your loved and your family.
My cooking triumphs
A dinner party with 20 plus guests...a fundraiser for Italian theme roaring 20s flappers and all. Seafood lasagna, Spaghetti, and an Italian wedding cake for dessert and certainly a lot of wine flowing...raised about $900.00.
My cooking tragedies
added too much red wine to a chicken and rice recipe (obviously didn't add enough to my guests) and ended up with purple rice chicken casserole. Not very

Slow Cooker Ham
I had to work today (easter sunday) so I did my ham this way. I work long hours 10 hr shifts so my husband had to plug in the crockpot hours after I left. It turned out great everyone raved and I had a group of over 12.....perfect

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I
very yummy I added a bit of sour cream, ground beef and round steak, some minced garlic it was great I have been trying to avoid pasta I served this over thin strips of steamed zucchini it was great.
