I put my pot on high heat for a bit too long, so when I put the butter in, it turned into a brownish liquid. I was afraid I screwed up the entire recipe. Then I added the other ingredients. When I poured the mixture into the pan, I realized that my pan was too large (9x13). I baked it for about 15 minutes. It came out great. I blended granulated sugar in the blender to make confectioners' sugar. At first when I was stirring the frosting, it seemed too powdery to be frosting, but I kept on mixing, and it got a spreadable texture. The frosting did not get a smooth, creamy texture b/c of the sugar, but it was still good and rich. The brownie by itself wasn't much, but with the frosting, it's a good treat to indulge in.
