Orange Almond Biscotti II

these were awesome.... as i do not like almonds i omitted the almonds and almond extract... i used vanilla extract and added some mini mini red and green chocolate chips... and i think when i shaped the rolls there were a little thick in the middle.. so a little soft, but one cooked and baked a 2nd time, i baked a few extra mins on each side... pretty color and tasted outstanding... thank you again another wonderful recipe.

Hawaiian Coleslaw

i will SOOOOO make this again...it went great with the Kahlua pork and rice i made... i mixed the dressing and let set in fridge for bout an hour, and didnt add the oranges and pineapples till bout 10 mins before serving.... it was OUTSTANDING!!!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

first time making this and LOVED IT!!!! few things on my part, i forgot to bread it, which turned out just fine... actually perfect... at the last minute it put a little crushed up crackers and a little butter.... i baked it, then pan fried to get a little darker crust.... turned out sooooooo yummy... seasoned the chicken with a little sea salt and pepper and a little lemon pepper... and i ended up making more of a gravy then a sauce... but no complaints. will make this again.

Refreshing Cucumber Salad

my husbands aunt makes this... she uses ms. dash.. you must season to your liking... and we serve it over warm white rice.... its wonderful/... i have used dill, lemon pepper and you must taste it once it sits for a bit, few hours, in the fridge... then more seasoning if need be.

Maple Cookies

LOVED THESE.... nice and soft... read a few other reviews, and i decided to try this as is written.... used vanilla extract.... i noted a hint of maple... if you wanted more, maybe use half the amount it calls for and use maple extract..... as i felt this was sweet enough, i left the icing off.... will for sure make this again for neighbors and the icing..... cant wait

Sweet Honey French Bread

love these.... just made them today.... made them into rolls (well mini rolls..lol) after reading that the original recipe makes a small loaf.... so tried these into roll size... (only 2nd time baking bread) i will make these again, double the recipe, and maybe add a little more honey, but as is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!

Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

for sure is a keeper... made for a family gathering.. everyone LOVE them..... and had left overs for days with the amount i made... i did NOT add the pineapple (ok, well like 4 little quarter pieces and a touch of juice)... in reading other reviews was afraid of the pineapple ruining the chicken..... and well, glad i did not add all of them..... turned out wonderful.... thank you thank you thank you.....

My Grandma's Cool Cucumber Salad

i have made many versions of this.... usually i put a tomato (diced) and use mayo.... my son loves this over white rice. i always have one of these, (mayo or sour cream) salads on hand every week. and the longer its sits the more juice comes out and just spoon it out of the rice. its great!!!!

Date and Chocolate Chip Whole Wheat Scones

not bad... a little on the bland side but that could have been me..... added a little extra butter and fresh out of the oven right now.... pretty moist... i did add also a touch more milk, figuring since you need to kneed it on a floured surface it could get dry..... i will save this for sure and be making it.... pictures to follow....

Pineapple Flan

this was pretty good.... my first time making anything thing like this... mixed milk and flour in mixer.... still had a little flour taste to it..... and had apricot preserves.... will make this again for sure and use the flan base for other fruits too...
