Curry-Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
Really healthy, really fast, really tasty!! This recipe can easily be modified to personal tastes (as many commenters have), but the base is good on its own. I usually add a bit of fresh ground peanut butter and some raisins myself

Haitian French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
I took a bunch of short cuts and the taste was still great! I will definitely try again when I have all the proper ingredients. I substituted skim milk for the cream, and still got a great tasting french toast. However, I used sliced sandwich bread and my "toast" came out rather soggy, so I would definitely recommend real bread if you have it!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Absolutely delicious! I even, uh, forgot to add the baking soda and they still turned out great! Actually, I think that helped me - I live at about 5000 feet so things tend to rise too fast and then dry out...but forgetting baking soda altogether isn't a typical high-altitude adjustment. Yumm...I think I'm going to wander into the kitchen and have another!

Citrus Tilapia

Fast, light, and very easy. It's no gourmet meal, but for simple tasty flavor does a great job! I made it exactly as written and it turned out very well.

Sweet Potato Gnocchi

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2005
I gave this recipe 3-stars before, because my attempt came out very soggy and not very appetising. However, I have since played with the recipe a bit, getting a better idea of "soft dough" (it should stick to your hands, but stick to itself more...if that makes sense) and now I LOVE this recipe. Worth the effort - filling, tasty, and great with blue cheese or alfredo sauce.

T's Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2005
Very tasty. Mine didn't get as crispy as I was expecting (and started to burn a bit at about 25 minutes of baking), but the flavor and texture was still very tasty. Perhaps I didn't cut them the right size. Nonetheless, a tastier and much healthier version of french fries that I'll do again.
