Apple Crisp II

I double the topping. This is so good, that I am now responsible for bringing it every Thanksgiving. Don't forget the French vanilla ice cream!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I have made these 4 times in the past few months. With the exception of using regular oats instead of quick oats (because it's all I had) and soaking the raisins for a minute in just-boiled water, I stick to the receipe every single time. Clearly the best.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

It could be that I used an organic peanut butter without the added sugar of a traditional brand, but These were not good. I used half white sugar and half brown sugar, but I don't think that would have contributed to the 'off' taste that much. They were just... well... not good. They are, however, very pretty. I am going to try the recipe on the back of the Hershey bag next time.

Curried Pumpkin Soup

To vegetarian-ize, I omitted broth using water instead and used coconut milk where the recipe calls for water. I would have used vegetable broth, but was out. Still came out pretty good, like a creamy curried pumpkin soup.

Wonderful Banana Cake

What a winner. I used the suggestion of adding the chocolate chips - ok that they go to the bottom - and also added another rater's suggestion of banana pudding/whipped cream as icing, sprinkled with more chocolate chips... There was NONE left. Also remarkably fast and easy!

Banana Bread

I'll probably make this again. I only used one loaf pan (larger than recipe size)and it worked well. Pretty good all around; the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there was still some left... 5 stars in my house is when it's gone.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

I've served this three times -- two large gatherings and one small family meal, for which I scaled down to half. It was a massive hit all three times and I didn't change a thing. This is quick, easy, and delicious.
