Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
we loved this recipe. i used white sweet potatoes. i didn't have any poultry seasoning so i used 1/4 tsp ground sage and 1/2 tsp thyme leaves which i ground up. i used 2 tbs of dark brown sugar and only used 1/2 tsp of sweet paprika because that's what i had on hand.

Kielbasa and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
i made this yesterday and my husband loved it. i used lite kielbasa and instead of the reg mustard i used brown horseradish mustard that's all i had on hand. for us the cajun seasoning was the right amount. i did cut the amount of pepper and i added some garlic cloves to the oil before i pan fried the sausage and onion.

Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
this was awesome. my husband absolutely loved these. i cut the cumin in half and i only had sweet paprika so i used that and i used a little more worcestershire sauce than the recipe called for and i also used the chili pepers in the can from old el paso. i also topped with a tbs of shredded mexican cheese. my husband and i are on weight watchers and this recipe was full of flavor. thank you food_diva.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
i wonder what i did wrong in making these cookies. i was so looking forward to tasting them. i read all of the other reviews and adjusted accordingly and the cookies just tasted horrible. they were very sticky to handle even after chilling. i wish that i hadn't wasted my ingedients on this recipe.

Creole Cornbread Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2004
this recipe was great. i was a little skeptical at first cause i've never had cornbread stuffing before. i didn't stuff the turkey though. i used it as a side dish. i had to cook it longer so that it would firm up and i wanted to make sure the eggs were done. i baked it in a casserole dish for about an hour longer. this was a huge holiday hit. i would definitely make this again next year. forgot to say that i used store bought cornbread to save time and i only used 5 eggs.
