Soul Smothered Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
Absolutely delicious! Been making smothered chicken for years, and this is simpler and better tasting than my recipe. Plenty of gravy from this for mashed potatoes, very flavorful, and great to feed a large group. Its a hit everytime! I am having 14 people over tonight and guess whats for dinner?? Always a hit!! I always slice the onion in rings-it adds a nice look and gives onion haters the option to remove them from their portion. Carrots and celery are optional and will not take away from the yumminess if omitted.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
These were so good. I only had Adams peanut butter, and they were still deelish!! I like peanut butter cookies with the regular p.b., so they were a little different. My 5 kids couldnt keep their hands off them, and they sold out fast at the Middle School bake sale. A big hit for sure!!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
These were easy, quick, and delicious. For how simple the ingredients are, its sure has a great taste. My entire family, 5 kids and hubby, all loved this, and we will be making it often. We dipped them in bbq sauce, catsup, and ranch, and all were great on them. Thanks for a great recipe!!

This is 5 star but only with 1 TEASPOON of vanilla, as many others have said. Perfect on a soft sugar cookie cutout

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
SUPER YUMMY!! Nice and tender, not dry at all. I followed the suggestion of using PARCHMENT PAPER and it was AWESOME! I rolled it out and cut, then peeled away the inbetween leftovers, put paper with cookies on the baking sheet, and after baking, just slid the paper off the sheet onto the counter to cool. Baking sheet is clean, and the cookies are 100% perfect! I usually get too much flour mixed in which makes a tough cookie, plus the shapes get deformed when I have to scrape them off the counter anyway, plus bottoms getting too brown. Parchment made them totally even colored. Do it!!

Gooey Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
Very yummy and easy to make. I did devils food mix, and did not roll in powdered sugar, just sprinkled it on right out of the oven. The middle school kids gobbled them up. I will definitely make this again and again. Thanks for a delicious variation on the ever classic cake mix cookies!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
This really is delicious. I made a double batch and refrigerated the base the night before, then added the ice and water in a pretty dispenser right before the party. It was a big hit, and it was all gone in about 30 minutes! I wish there was a way around all the sugar, but it was great.

Breakfast Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
These taste great with just black beans. I like to put my burrito together, then grill it on my george foreman grill, it hold the tortilla together and adds a crispiness that is so yummy! Kids love it on the way out the door to school!

Sunday Shrimp Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
I can see how it has potential to be good, but the cheese was way too heavy of a sauce for this. I made exactly as instructed. I love shrimp and pasta with a creamy tomato sauce, but this was more like nacho dip with noodles and shrimp. Not one of my 5 kids or my husband or I enjoyed this. :( Sorry!

Bubba's Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
This was very delicious and easy to make. I made a big double batch and gave 1/2 away to another family, they loved it! Im used to my dads recipe which is a bit sweeter and not so savory. I will probably alternate between this one and my dads, depending on what I have on hand. Thanks for a great recipe!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
I really enjoyed this but my family did not. We dont eat a lot of sweet meats though, so maybe this will grow on them when I serve it again. When my family changes their mind I will give it 5, but I really did enjoy this. I saved extra sauce for dipping and that made it really enjoyable. Just pour some out into anther small bowl before you baste the raw chicken. Thanks!

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2011
DEEEEELICIOUS!! Ive never made flank steak, and this is the BOMB. My kids are raving right now. Made fajitas with this, put the veggies in a foil packet, grilled the steak. This is going into the family meal, and entertaining meal rotation for sure! I used limes instead of lemons cuz thats what I had and it was superb. Thanks for a fab recipe!!
