Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

I have never made fall-off-the-bone pork ribs before....until now! These were GREAT! I followed the suggestions of several posters and used my favorite BBQ sauce instead of the ketchup, and the ketchup instead of the chili sauce (I still put a bit in though), and I also skimped a bit on the brown sugar which I wont do again. I doubled the mix because I cooked 2 racks of ribs and it worked fine. I slow cooked them for 7 hours and the ribs were almost too tender. Next time I will only leave them in the crock pot for 6.5 hours. I caramelized my sauce onto the ribs by broiling them for 10-12 minutes...I highly recommend doing this. Enjoy!

This is a pretty good recipe. I cut the butter in half though, and I think next time I'd cut it even further. I also spiced up the boil with my favorite Cajun mix. I'll definitely try this again.

I've Made this several times and LOVE it. I change nothing with the directions. It's mine and my wife's favorite salmon dish. It has become one of our go-to meals to impress company. Thank you for sharing this Starflower.

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

These turned out GREAT!!! I made them for a party my wife I were invited to where we didn't know very many people. I made a lot of new friends by sharing the recipe! I followed a few tips from other posters that helped: I cleaned the jalapenos under water in a dish, I microwaved the bacon to get it started, I put a touch of honey on the bacon as well (you could taste the touch of sweetness), and I broiled the poppers for 5 minutes after the suggested 20 minutes of cook time, which made my bacon a bit crisper and gave a better presentation. Some advice though, be careful washing any dishes the jalapenos touch. The next day I washed the bowl (without gloves) that I cleaned them in and my hands burned for over an hour. :)
