Very tasty, and I left out the bacon and cheese! I also added a diced jalapeno, some garlic powder and some sauteed kale.

Black and Whites from Ghirardelli®

I made these meringues for my son's wedding reception and used homemade chocolate mousse in place of the chocolate filling in this recipe. Delicious and elegant!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2014
Excellent crust! Nice pizzeria texture when cooked on a pizza stone. I use part all purpose flour and part bread flour. I make the dough in the bread machine and store it in the refrigerator for a day or two (or 5) before bringing to room temperature and making the pizza.

Black Magic Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
This was awesome! I halved the recipe and baked in a square pan. I subbed applesauce for just a little of the oil. Still delish after 4 days!

Baltimore Zoo

Very good indeed! Too easy to drink...tastes like fruit punch! I cannot stand the taste of beer, but you can't detect it in this concoction.

Spice Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2014
I used part margarine and part shortening and also added an egg as others suggested. I halved the recipe and baked in an 8x8 pan for 20+ minutes. I kept checking after 20 minutes to make sure not to overbake. Very tasty indeed! I loved these.

Peanut Butter Balls II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
Very good. I reduced the butter and sugar just a bit and they're still very tasty. My kids like these even without chocolate!

Oat Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2006
Very tasty and healthy! I used homemade applesauce, added a couple TBSP of wheat germ, subbed 1/2 c flour with whole wheat flour, added just a touch of apple cider, and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top before baking.

Sweet and Sour Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
Very tasty! I'd like it to be just a little thicker, though. I wonder if I could add a little mayonnaise to thicken it up without changing the taste.

Roquefort Dressing II

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2006
This recipe deserves 10 stars! Excellent taste and so easy to make! I didn't have Roquefort, so I just used regular blue cheese and it was delish! Was a little thick for my preference so I added a tbsp of milk. I like to spread a tsp of this dressing on my hamburger - YUM!

This baked perfectly in my bread machine. Very soft and fluffy inside. I used all bread flour since I didn't have barley flour. Great recipe!

Garlic Croutons

These are so much better than store bought croutons. I used part butter, part olive oil and added a pinch of italian seasoning. Very good!

Simple Sicilian Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
MMM YUM! I was looking for a salad dressing made with olive oil that I could eat while on my detox diet and this is it. I didn't add the garlic, but next time I'll try it that way.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
Great chicken - nice and tender. I added some onion powder and cajun seasoning. I cut the chicken breasts into strips before coating. Then I fried for a few minutes on each side and finished cooking by baking for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Great with various dipping sauces - BBQ, ranch, or honey mustard.
