Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2007
This was the easiest recipe & the tastiest! My husand and I loved it. I used a whole packet of taco seasoning mix & medium salsa. I served it with tortillas and refried beans. It was even better the next day, I warmed the chicken up added the beans & made it into a burrito, very yummy! Thanks for the recipe!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2007
I entered this dip in an appetizer contest & won 3rd prize!! My husband loves this dip. I start with a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store that I shred into bite size pieces. I follow the rest of the directions except I like to add about an extra cup of Franks hot sauce and at least 10 shots of Tabasco ( we like it HOT!!) I throw it all in a crock pot and let it simmer for 6 - 8 hours. I like to serve the dip with Tostito Scoops & Frito Scoops. Very Yummy!!!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
I just finished my 3rd bowl of this salad! I am supposed to take this to a baby shower tomorrow, I hope I have enough!!It is so good, just as everyone else has said! I followed the recipe pretty closely, except for reducing the amount of white sugar as others have recommended, the dressing is delicious! I also added dried raspberries (I had them in the cupboard) and sliced red onion. Instead of using butter, I dry toasted the almonds in the oven. I did use the sesame seeds & poppy seeds (you may not be able to taste the poppy seeds, but I love the look of them in the dressing!) I bagged the almonds, craisens, and red onion in ziplocs, put the spinich in a huge bowl, the dressing in a jar & I plan on assembling this salad at the shower so it does not wilt. This is one of the best salads I've had in a long time, I can't wait to have people over to make it again!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
Awesome!! I doubled this recipe & took 1/2 to a friend who just had a baby. Both families loved this! I was a little worried about using cream of chicken soup with the ground beef, but the gravy is so good, we were sopping it up with french rolls! I served this with next day mashed potatoes ( I substituted onion & chive cream cheese for the plain) and corn on the cob. Even my 11 year old ( the picky eater) asked for seconds!! I have made this 2 times since and will continue to add it to my menu. Thanks for a great recipe!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
This is such a great & easy recipe! We had a Hawaiian themed end-of-the year party for my 3rd grade son and served this punch. I purchased paper drink umbrellas (parasols),put pineapple chunks & marachino cherries on each & stuck one in each cup. Huge hit!!

Best Ever Cinnamon Pull Aparts

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
I just made this for my kids, big hit! After reading the reviews, I added more butter and a little less sugar. I only had 2 tubes of bisquits, but found that this was plenty. I did not add pecans (did not have any in cupboard) but next time I will! These were very yummy, and very addictive!! Thanks for a great & easy treat!

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2006
These are the best poppers ever!! My husband and I made these for a New Years Eve Party and we won the appetizer contest!!! The only changes we made were: we added a little more bacon bits to the mixture, and we only dipped the jalapenos into the milk/ bread crumbs once. We also added Pampered Chef SouthWestern seasoning mix to the plain bread crumbs. We also froze the poppers ahead of time and fried them the night of the party. We had a chipolte jelly to dip them into. They were fantastic and we will definitely make them again and again. Thanks for such a great recipe!

Chicken In Sour Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
My family LOVED this recipe. I will definitely use thighs again, they stayed so moist! I did not have the onion soup mix so I substituted Knorr Vegetable soup mix instead. this recipe is a keeper!
