Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
I used craisins instead of raisins and added some flax seed. Delicious!

Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
These cookies were delicious! I did change it a little by using less peanut butter chips (about 1.5 cups) and after the cookies had cooled, I melted some chocolate and paraffin wax in a double boiler and drizzled it on top. Everyone loved them!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
I didn't add any extra sugar to the salsa and found it to still be delicious! I had also never made tortilla chips before and found that i had to cook them much longer (12-15 minutes) than the recipe stated-- until they turned golden brown. Otherwise they became very tough and chewy (though still delicious) instead of crunchy.

Maple Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
This came out great! I used half brown sugar instead of all white and used more maple extract as another reviewer suggested. It came out SUPER creamy and delicious with the right amount of maple taste.

Potato, Broccoli and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2011
I loved it! I used 5 cups of chicken broth instead of the bouillon cubes and water. I also add a lot more broccoli-- like twice as much and sometimes I throw in some kale (steamed first). Turned out great! I'll definitely make this next year when my broccoli comes in!

This cheese was tasty when fried, but I would add a little salt next time.

Spicy Indian Chicken and Mango Curry

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
I found this recipe to be delicious! I halved it the first time and made it as written (only with light coconut milk). The second time, I doubled the curry paste and used a frozen bag of mango/raspberry/blueberry pieces (because that's all I had on hand). Both were great, but the fresh mango is better and the doubling of the curry paste is a must for me!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
This time I used Frank's Wing Sauce and added some hot sauce. Next time, I'll use regular Franks. I baked a batch and fried a batch-- I found only slighty differences and will bake them from now on. I also will seperate the wings at the joints before I do anything instead of seperating them after cooking.

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
I followed the recommendations in the first ("most helpful") review and found it to be delicious. I used chipotle mayo to give it just a little spice kick-- came out great!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
I roasted a whole chicken, picked off the meat and used a mixture of meat (breast, thigh, etc) for the pie and other dishes. The pie, using the comments suggested, came out beautifully; however, I found that doubling the sauce as suggested made too much. I think next time I will not double the sauce and will also use more fresh vegetables-- all I had were frozen, which tasted good, but would have been better with fresh!

Slow Cooker Western Omelet

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
Pretty good, but I thought it was a bit bland. Putting the leftovers in tortillas with salsa and freezing them to make frozen breakfast burritos turned out great!!

Mango Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
Definitely needed some lime juice, but all I had was lemon. This time I baked the chicken, but I think it would be much better marinated in a light marinade and grilled.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
Really delicious and really cheesy! I salted the eggplant to let it dry out, but didn't rinse it off and found it to be a touch salty. Next time i would rinse and dry the slices before putting it together.
