Soft Sugar Cookies V

This has been my go-to recipe for sugar cookies for years. The only change I make is omitting the nutmeg, mainly because I don't like it. Everyone always looks bored when I tell them I've brought sugar cookies, until they try these and then they are converts. What I really love, is that the cookies themselves are not exceptionally sweet, so adding icing to them doesn't make them so sugary that no one can enjoy them.

Soft Baked Custard

I don't think I've ever given a rating this low. I'm not sure what went wrong but I followed this recipe exactly and ended up with two custards I couldn't eat. I didn't care for the taste and it never quite set up. I know others loved it, so it was apparently something I did, but I don't foresee myself wasting the time or ingredients to try this again.

Peanut Soup

So happy I found this recipe! I had surgery a week ago on my throat and have been living on chicken broth and tomato soup and this was a welcome change! I normally like my peanut soup spicier but in this instance this was perfect, very flavourful and just a great change. Once I'm feeling better, I will probably try it again with some hot sauce to give it a little extra something. Thanks!

Caramel Pudding

love this recipe, only advice is follow the advice of KEZ to avoid lumpy pudding. It has a good light flavor and is extremely easy to whip up.

Rich Chocolate Brownies

LOVE!!!! so unbelievably good and chocolatey... they were gone within 24 hours, didn't make any changes to the recipe. Great to use in a brownie sundae :)... didn't try to frosting though, just melted some chocolate chips on top

German Potato Pancakes

These were not at all what I was expecting. I grew up eating potato pancakes, my nanny (half-german, half-scottish) used to make them all the time, should have called her for the recipe... they were a really ugly green color, I ate one, and threw out the rest, was going to save them for my fiance but I knew the color would totally turn him off.
