Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie
I followed some other suggestions: added an extra half cup of sugar, let the filling mix sit in the flour/sugar for the full 30 minutes, made a lattice top crust, let the pie sit in the oven for 20 minutes after turning the oven off when it was done cooking. It's the best strawberry rhubarb pie I've ever tasted.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II
I made this dish with a few changes: I used canned chicken, added frozen California blend veggies, used 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and 1 tablespoon of hoisin garlic sauce, and I fried it about 12 minutes. It was so good! My EXTREMELY picky fiance loved it, and my friend who just got back from traveling in Asia devoured it. Well done.

Everything Cupcakes
These are a fantastic jumping off point to put your own spin on an "everything" cupcake. I changed up some of the ingredients (picky eaters at my house) so here goes: I used a yellow cake mix, applesauce instead of oil, unsweetened vanilla almond milk instead of water, and added white chocolate chips and m&ms. I also omitted the coconut and peanut butter. I made a simple cream cheese frosting. The picky eater LOVED them.
