I used Jack Daniels brown sugar BBQ sauce and also added some thinly sliced yellow onion (about 1/4 of an onion), some liquid smoke, and some flour to thicken. Family LOVED it!

Very Yummy! I used my garlic press for the garlic, other then that I followed the recipe exactly. Next time I plan to use a little less olive oil.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
I thought this soup was pretty good. I cooked the chicken for a few minutes on each side then moved it to my crock pot. I threw everything else in there (I added extra chili powder and some mexican oregano) and cooked it for about 3 1/2 hours at medium heat. I then pulled out the chicken, shredded it, and threw it back in. I also drained and added a can of black beans. Next time I plan to use cilantro as well.

This chicken turned out really good! I did not use oregano. I did add cilantro and added some extra lime juice. Served it with homemade pico de gallo as well! My 2 & 5 year old are actually still out there eating this as I review it :o)

Orange Roughy with Montreal Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
I really liked this!!! Even my 5 & 2 year old practically cleared their plates!!! I used a heaping teaspoon of the steak seasoning and I cooked it at 375 for 20 minutes in the oven. I used a glass casserole dish that I sprayed a little olive oil in. I then served it over brown rice. YUMMY!

Peach-a-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
It was good (my 14 months old niece loved it the most. I used frozen peaches but didn't let them defrost all the way. I think this was where I made a mistake. The peaches were a little tough. Next time I will use fresh or make sure they are 100% defrosted. Also, there was more extra juice then I wanted. I even added extra corn starch and sprinkled it on the bottom of the crust before adding the fruit mixture.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
I decided to make my own guac for an upcoming party. I printed many recipes to test before the event. This was the first, and only, recipe I tried! YUMMY! I made the recipe exactly as is with all fresh ingredients. The only thing I did not add is the cayenne pepper, mainly because I did not have any. I can't wait for my guests to have this!!!

Dishpan Cookies II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
My 4 year old son helped me make these cookies. I cut the recipe in half and had enough batter to make about 40 large cookies. I followed the recipe with the exception of using an entire 11.5oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips. Turned out excellent!

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2007
First of all I want to say not only did my husband and I love this but my 18 month old and very picky 4 year old did as well!! I used fresh broccoli and 3 chicken breasts. The only changes I really made were margarine instead of butter, fat free cheddar in stead of the full fat kind, and I sprinkled a little 2% Cheese(mexican Blend)on top because I was trying to finish the bag. Turned out PERFECT!

Baked Omelet

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2007
YUMMY! I literally walked straight from the table where I just ate this to my computer to write a review. I followed the recipe exactly, just made 1 1/2 times the amount. I ended up having to cook it for about 70 minutes because of the extra ingredients. I just kept watching it until it was all solid, no liquid.

Chicken Gravy Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
I made the recipe exactly as is and this did not go over well with my family. My husband said it was too bland, my 3 year old only ate it because we made him, and my 16 month old had fun smearing it (he usually eats ANYTHING). It came out way to liquidy. Almost like a thick soup.
