My cooking triumphs
I made a wonderful French Silk Pie, and a wonderful Ice Cream Pie. I made my first Thanksgiving turkey two years ago, and it turned out perfect!
My cooking tragedies
Having two lazy susans in my kitchen panry for knives, and wooden mixing spoons, and the second one in the cupboard for spices and herbs makes getting at the items I need to make a good meal so much easier for me in my kitchen.

Dawn's Easy Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies
I love this recipe and so does everyone else I have made it for! I only made a couple of substitutes, I added melted coconut oil for the vegtable. I used carrot cake mix, and milk chocolate mix. I did in fact for the first trial of making this recipe use red velvet cake mix. Whatever changes you may make, or add to it this recipes is a winner. After I write this review, I am going to make a batch! :)

Hobo Beef and Vegetable Soup
This is a recipe that has similar ingredients of a stew my mother used to make, except she made the ground beef mixture into meatballs. I tweeked this recipe to match the one she used to make. I sauteed the garlic, onion, and 1/3 cup of chopped green bell pepper, until soft and the onions were translucent. Than I mixed up the ground beef with one egg, in a large plastic bag with a zipper. I kneaded the mixture, until the egg was combined with the ground beef. I added the sauteed garlic, onion, and bell pepper, and kneaded it all together until it was all mixed in well. I browned the meatballs in a little olive oil, just until browned. I finished cooking the meatballs in the can stewed tomatoes. The recipe is the same from here on. Taste just like my mom's...well almost! :)

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage
A smash sensation! I had a smaller corned beef, and I turned my crock pot on to high and cooked the corn beef for six hours. I added the beer, a stout hoppy lagar, carrots, new potatoes, half of a onion, and 1 extra bay leaf, and a little rosemary and thyme. I also added some garlic salt.(Just a touch). This recipe is great! A real dandy to have on hand for St Patricks Day!
