Loved, loved, LOVED this recipe! We made it for a family "Welcome Fall" get together we have every year, where we have a couple different kinds of soups. Everyone loved it and there was hardly any left. And it makes A LOT. It just barely fit in our crock pot without overflowing. Since some people in the family don't like things too spicy, we just used 4 cans of regular chili beans, which we didn't drain. We also used a milder chili pepper (I believe they were Anaheim). I will definitely make this again and may substitute cut up chuck roast next time for an extra "meatiness" factor.
