Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2006
This was my first turkey, and it was fabulous. It received rave reviews from my entire family, including my in-laws. Everyone went back for seconds.

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2006
A great recipe. We've cut back on red meat, but I was tired of making turkey burgers. Meatloaf is one of our family favorites, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It was the best meatloaf we've ever had. It was flavorful and juicy, even though I didn't use all of the milk. The glaze on top was yummy. I also added fresh basil, (since I have a gigantic basil plant). I am recommending this one to all of my friends.

Potato Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
I've tried to make potato chips before with no success, but this recipe did the trick. As other reviewers have noted, each microwave is different. It took mine about 5 minutes, and I couldn't make them fast enough for my 4 year old. Instead of coating them in oil, I used cooking spray as was suggested by another, so even my heart healthy husband ate them and loved them. A keeper. (the chips and the husband)

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
My entire family, aged 18 months to 29+ loved this recipe. I used canned pizza dough and fresh spinach instead of frozen. This was easy and delicious. An earlier reviewer suggested brushing egg whites on top, and it did add a nice shiny glaze to the calzone. This one is a great master recipe for a calzone. I can't wait to make it again.

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
These were simple to make and so delicious. My two and five year olds kept begging for more. I added the TBSP of sugar, but they would have been great without it. They were yummy when topped with blackberry jelly.

Jammin' Tarheel Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I made this chili recipe for a group who came over to watch a bowl game. It was just right for everyone. It wasn't too spicy, and the flavors blended perfectly. The kids loved it, too. I served it with the Whole Wheat Beer Bread (by BLCHRISMAN) on this site, and I used Dos Equis Lager in both. I'll use this recipe again, but I'll have to tell my friends that it's Junkyard Dawg Chili!

Snow Ice Cream II

I made this for my sons tonight, and they loved it. They want me to make more tomorrow. I love it because it's a recipe that they can make, too.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
These muffins are yummy. I love to make homemade muffins, and these were very easy and also healthier than others because of the applesauce. My two year old can't get enough of them!

Jimmy's Mexican Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
This was excellent. It was so easy to make, and it was a good way to change things up for "Mexican night." My husband said it's the best meal I've made in a long time. Thanks, Jimmy!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
This recipe was great. Using the oats were so much better than bread crumbs both for texture and taste. I took the advice of an earlier poster and sprayed a muffin pan then made the mini loaves in that. A great benefit of doing it that way was that I didn't have to drain off any grease. All my boys (husband and sons) couldn't get enough. Thanks for the recipe.

Smashed Cauliflower Side Dish

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
Yum! (I cheated and added a little mozzarella, but it would have been perfect even without it.) Even my boys loved it.

Stuffed Tomato Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
This meal was so easy to prepare, and I got to use fresh basil from my garden. I'll definitely make it again, and I can't wait to try with different cheeses as some other reviewers suggested.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
These are delicious and so much fun to make. They have just enough ginger to get the flavor but are not overpowering like many gingerbread cookies. My children love to help make the shapes, and this dough works well whether you want a crispy cookie or a cookie that stays soft, depending on your cooking time. I have requests for these every year.
