Wow!!! This was the best baked ham that my family and I have ever tasted. I will continue to use this recipe for the rest of my cooking years and hopefully pass it on to my kids.

I was trying so hard to find the recipe to this just the way my aunt made it. When I looked at the ingredients I said to myself "This sounds like it could be it". Sure enough it was. It was great!!

This pie was so good and I don't even care for sweet potatoe pie like that! While growing up my mom always made this pie during the holiday season. My daughter and husband who are not fans of any type of sweets loved this. I did double everything and added a couple of things which are things my mom has always used in her pies. Brushed the edges of pie crusts with egg whites and baked for about 5-7 mins before pouring pie mix. I used 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of evap. milk, 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 1/4 cup brown sugar b/c of the amount of cinnamon used (1 tbsp) AND b/c this pie is not sweet potatoe pie unless its sweet, lol. Added 1 tbsp vanilla flavor and 1 tsp all spice. One thing about sweet potatoe pie is that you have to make it according to your taste. So what may work for some may not work for others. I read a lot of the reviews before making my pies and thanks to those who provided the great tips. So good luck and enjoy!

This was delicious! I like this one better than the one I've been using. I did make a few additions as another reviewer (TEVANS211) suggested and added vanilla flavor (1 tsp) and sifted dry ingredients twice. I also allowed added 2tbsp of sugar and allowed the mix to sit for thickness at least 15mins after mixing all ingredients with wire whisk. Do not over mix, a few lumps in the mix is normal. Don't give a recipe a bad review if you're going to completely chop it!

I haven't purchased jar chili sauce in over two years! This chili tastes much better. I'm from the south and a hot dog is not a hot dog without the chili, it's a must have! Changes I made was I used 1lb of ground beef because 1/2 lb was too saucy. I also always cook my beef with the seasonings adding the onions the last few mins of cooking time with the beef. I hate to say it, but I don't measure the chili powder, I just sprinkle until I've covered the ground beef, which is quite a bit. After draining and adding the sauce to the beef I allow to come to a boil and simmer for about 10-15mins. The thing is it does make quite a bit so if you have a small family and there are leftovers you can place in an airtight container and freeze until you are ready to use again.
