Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: May 3, 2004
Delicious time after time! I use the chuncky tomato, onion, and garlic spaghetti sauce by Ragu.

The Best Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2004
This is the recipe my mother and I use, with the omission of the vanilla, which doesn't hurt a bit. We also only use about 4 bananas. It is quick and easy and always brings rave reviews.

Super Delicate Chocolate Buttercream

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2004
Too much trouble for mediocre results. The frosting does taste better after a day or two, but I don't think I will make it again because of the time and dirty dishes involved. Also, there are raw egg yolks in this recipe.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2004
This pork loin comes out very tasty and tender. My husband loves it, and I have served it to guests with rave reviews. The only substitution I make is real garlic in the place of the powder.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2004
Although I had a hard time getting the breading to stick, these pork chops had an excellent taste. I will make them again.

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2004
This is the best chicken salad I have ever eaten! I used dark raisins and red grapes to add a little color. I will definitely make this from now on when I need chicken salad.

Pina Colada Punch

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2004
Very cool and refreshing. It was gone in no time! All the guests at my luau raved about it! It makes a nice creamy, slushy punch, and it fills a large punch bowl (2 gallons). If you need to make it nonalcoholic, rum extract works well.

This is okay. Not bad for the time and ingredients involved.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 30, 2003
Fabulous! I liked the fruit cut up in larger chunks so it didn't get too mushy. This recipe makes a lot!

Spanish Sherried Shrimp

Reviewed: May 30, 2003
My husband liked this dish, but it had too much thyme for me. If I make it again, I will substitute something else for it. I served it with wild and long grain rice with garlic and almonds as recommended, but I think next time we would prefer it over angel hair pasta. It went well with a nice Riesling.
