Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 31, 2013
The first time we had this, I did as the recipe said and had as a kabob. It was so good, that I thougth why not just use as a marinade for chicken without the kabob? It's delicious and always gets rave reviews! You will NOT be disappointed with this recipe!

Italian Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
This is my favorite recipe for cheesecake. It ALWAYS gets rave reviews! I follow the ingredients exactly as it's written. However, this cake WILL crack in the center if you don't bake it in a hot water bath. Wrap your pan in aluminum foil and place in a large roasting pan with about 1.5 inches of boiling water. After you turn off the oven, DO NOT open it. Leave it alone. I would also recommend leaving it in the oven unopened for 2 hours as opposed to 1. This is a great compromise between your traditional Italian cheesecake with a New York twist.

Guilt-Free Mac 'n' Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
This wasn't too bad for a reduced fat recipe. I was a bit hesitant about the cottage cheese, but to be honest, it really didn't taste bad. I used a combination of reduced fat cheddar and reduced fat Jack cheese. My husband and daughter both requested seconds and they are both usually pretty picky eaters. The definitely serves as a good basis and can be tweaked according to taste.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
Delicious! I didn't have white pepper, so I just used black. I omitted the hot pepper sauce, but did add the minced garlic. I used it on NY strips and marinated them overnight in a ziploc bag. Everyone really liked it.

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
"Souper" easy to make and absolutely delicious! Took the advice of some other reviewers and substituted half chicken stock for the water. Did not have marjoram, but added 2 bay leaves instead. This soup came out perfect!

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
The icing did dry nice and shiny. I used vanilla instead of almond extract. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was a little but too thick for me. I added just a tad more milk and it was fine. All in all, a very good icing recipe.

I use this recipe any time that I want to make chocolate chip cookies. I sometimes use choc chip/peanut butter chip variation in the cookies. They come out perfect every time. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Delicious.

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
I was looking for a basic macaroni and cheese recipe and this is definitely it! I used shells instead of elbows and didn't bake it (we were hungry). Definitely way too much sauce for the amount of pasta suggested - but I guess it would have decreased had I baked it. All in all, a very good basic mac n' cheese recipe. This is definitely a keeper.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
This recipe is very tasty. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to making it though because my dip did get hard from the mozzy as indicated in some of the other reviews. Overall though - the taste is delicious and it is extremely easy to make.
