Deep South Fried Chicken

First two star I have given. There is just better ways to fry chicken. I think if I did this again I would leave off cover and add more spices. Very plain and not as crispy as other fried chickens I tired. I think its because of moisture building up when the cover is on.

Spinach-and-Mushroom-Stuffed Pork Chops

Very good. I used center cut pork loin chops. I took them out when the temp read 135. Let them sit for a few minutes and very juicy.

Awesome Pasta Salad

Very good. Lots of flavor. Have the salami cut a little thick so they do not stick to each other with cutting up. Seemed to taste even better after sitting over night in the frig.

Buttermilk Parmesan Potatoes

Nana's Southern Coleslaw

Best coleslaw I have ever tried. Has a nice not to sweet not to sour taste. I even make my own buttermilk using a one cup of regular milk to one tablespoon of cider vinegar. Let it sit for a while and you have buttermilk. I tried mine and store bought and can not tell any difference. Saves from wasting buying a whole pint for just a 1/4 cup.

Baby Back Ribs

Very good. I think it would be better at a shorter time or a lower temp like 250. I also cooked this two hours and finished them on the grill. Just a good way to make tender ribs.

I did not care for it. But I can see it is very easy to over cook this. I had trouble dropping it into the water. Lot of work and easy to screw up.

Baked French Fries I

Very nice fries. I made them twice. Once just as the recipe says and they were great. Another time I used real onions and cut them in to very thin slices and cooked them . Very good.
